Abstract: In a card which has a picture and is bent intermediate its ends to enable the card to be moved between an extended position in which a part of the picture at the region of the bend is visible and a contracted position in which the part of the picture at the region of the bend is concealed from view, effecting animation of the picture by imparting movement to that part of the picture which alternately becomes visible and concealed from view at the region of the bend when the card is successively stretched and shortened between its extended and contracted positions.
