  • Patent number: 7219688
Abstract: A fluid flow control valve includes a housing having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, which define a flowpath therebetween. Within the housing is a chamber located in the flowpath between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. A valve member is mounted within the chamber from movement between an open position, allowing for flow along the flowpath, and a closed position, which prevents such flow. The valve member is biassed to the open position. The fluid control valve further includes a device for regulating fluid pressure to enable the fluid pressure to be set on the inlet side of the valve member.

  • Patent number: 5726623
Abstract: A temperature dependent resistive component (10) has two supports (12, 14) attached to its respective opposite faces, each support having at least one projecting leg which terminates in a contact pad (13 or 14), the contact pads of the two supports (12, 14) lying in a common plane spaced from the component (10), for mounting the component to a substrate. Each support may comprise a wire bonded to the respective face of the component, or a piece of sheet material bent to channel-section and bonded via its edges to the face of the component. The common plane, in which the contact pads lie, may be parallel to but spaced from one face of the component, or perpendicular to the opposite faces of the component and spaced from its edge.
