Abstract: A dual air-oil separator which separates two air-oil mixtures of differing proportions in a single unit having first and second chambers for the separate mixtures. The two chambers are separated by a perforated partition wall. The air-oil mixture, high in air is separated as it passes from the first chamber through the perforated wall and into the second chamber. The second chamber directly receives the air-oil mixture, low in air, for separation and combination in its sump with the oil from the first chamber.
Abstract: A transparent semi-rigid plastic shield having a mounting portion with a saddle shape including a pair of downwardly extending legs adapted to snugly fit over and grip the upper leg while the shield portion is positioned over the surgical field. The shield portion having a lateral downward curvature toward the forward end to permit unobstructed lateral entry of the operating tools being utilized.
Abstract: A valve section which establishes priority flow in a valve assembly having a plurality of directional control open-center valves each for controlling flow between an associated hydraulic motor and a common power passage from a single source of motive fluid, wherein flow to one of the motors is afforded priority during simultaneous operation of it and another motor. The associated valve section of the priority motor having a conventional load check valve opened by pressure in the common power passage while the load check of the non-priority valve section is opened by pilot pressure in its open-center passage.
Abstract: A syringe and needle grinder incorporating a cylindrical-shaped rotor cutting device which is rotated within a stationary housing having an intake duct in the top of the housing offset from the center of rotation of the cutting device and a discharge duct in the bottom sidewall of the housing. The first set of cutting blades extend radially from the hub of the rotor and a second set of cutting blades are longitudinally positioned around the periphery of the rotor which act in conjunction with a plurality of stationary blades on the inside of the housing to further grind and shear the material prior to expelling it from the discharge opening.
Abstract: A barbecue rotisserie skewer having at least two closely spaced tines rigidly supported at one end by handle structure and the other end by a support receptacle which not only supports the skewer for rotation but rigidly holds the free ends of the tines. The support receptacle easily slides off the tines for receipt and removal of the food being cooked.
Abstract: The hydrofoil vehicle has a buoyant hull to support a rider. A powering device is in the hull with a propeller therefrom. The ski assembly includes a main ski below the hull mounted on the forward and aft ends thereof. It has a pair of helper skis oppositely alongside the aft end portion of the main ski. Stabilizing fins extend below the main ski, and a rudder is used to steer.
