Abstract: An air-circulator room deodorizer has a permeable container (1) that is positioned with an air-circulator attachment (8, 10, 12, 14) in airflow from a room air circulator such as a room fan (3, 5) or vent (4, 6) and has a deodorant pack (18) that releases fragrance selectively into the airflow.

Abstract: A solar-plasma meter has a plasma compass (1) and a plasma scale (8, 9) in a meter housing (6, 10) having atmospherically controlled enclosure that is permeable to solar plasma. The plasma compass has a plasma sail (2) having direction-responsive surface and force-responsive surface attached to a force-measurement member (3) suspended from a universally rotational housing mount (7) that is vertically above a force-indication point (4). The plasma scale has a plasma plate (13, 14) oriented horizontally and suspended vertically for measuring solar plasmatic mass encountering the plasma plate. The solar plasma meter can be selectively portable or stationary with concentric or separate construction of the plasma compass and the plasma scale.

Abstract: An attachment device (1) secures an enclosure to the roof frame (2) of a golf cart has a sleeve portion which wraps around the frame (2) and is secured by zipper teeth (9). An optional flap (14) extending from the sleeve portion has attachment means to secure an enclosure. Opening slots (13) in the flap allow windshield opening release brackets (7) to be inserted therethrough.

Abstract: An area-rug cleaning method has steps of air spray (1) for removing dry-extractible dirt with angularly directed air pressure; immersion shampoo (9) for removing immersion-extractible dirt with immersion-shampooing that does not molest rug fibers; scrub wash (16) for removing adhered dirt such as stains, odors and urine with rotational scrub washing; vacuum extract (18) for removing wash fluid with dry vacuum extraction; water rinse (20); cool dry (23); dry clean (24) for removing wash-resistant dirt; acid condition (25) for neutralizing base cleaning agents with an acid-based catalyst; and pad rub (26) for rubbing nap of the area rugs with a cloth pad to provide a shine finish.

Abstract: A sealed package (1, 7) containing the beverage placed in a frozen state (2, 8) capable of being easily opened to allow the frozen beverage (2, 8) to be inserted into a container (5) containing the same beverage in a liquid state. The package (1, 7) would preferably be a cylindrically shaped packet made of plastic with serrations (3, 9) for opening. The beverage in the packages, such as beer, could be in a concentrated form to further enhance the intensity of the beverage or even may be flavored to modify the beverage at the same time it is cooled. The packets (1, 7) could be sized to fit into an opening of a conventional beverage can (6), bottle or pitchers containing the beverage.

Abstract: A sports swing-impact-speed indicator (1) has a solid state accelerometer (20) which measures impact speed of swing of a sports swing-impact implement during an event-time window of an event-window timer (21) following a select swing-acceleration time. The accelerometer can be a miniature solid state unit with a ratio-metric voltage signal that is directly proportional to centripetal energy imparted by travel of the implement, such as a baseball bat (2), during the event-time window. A digital readout (10) has preferably Liquid Crystal Display that can be seen in bright-light-to-dusk visibility conditions. Singular readout and selectively automated control provide simplicity of use. The unit can be attached to a desired implement such as a baseball bat with a slip-on pliable sleeve (3) or other quick-fit device. Minuteness of electronic components permits use of a small stored-energy (18) and/or solar-powered battery (19) for power.

Abstract: A scratch board musical instrument (1) and playing implement (2) having a playing surface (5) with a plurality of horizontal ripples, ridges and valleys (8, 6, 7), a border (9) surrounding the playing surface and a handle (4) on one side for holding the musical instrument by hand. The playing implement (2) has a handle (12) with a metal rod (13) extending therefrom which is bent or curved at a distal end to provide a surface on each side for running the rod transversely across the horizontal ridges to produce a “bluegrass” musical effect.

Abstract: A light weight and easy to use strap-like device (1) for carrying bottles (1) and other containers by securing them to a handle (2) of another object. The device has a buckle (8) at a proximal end. A first side of the strap near the proximal end has matching fastening means which is spaced apart a sufficient distance so when connected around a handle (2) it forms an attachment loop (5) for attaching the device to the handle (2) of another object. The second or opposite side of the strap contains fastening means, such as hook and loop fastening material (10,11), with the distal portion of the strap containing one component of the fastening means, such as hook fabric (11), and the remaining portion having loop fabric (10). After the device has been attached to a handle of another object, a bottle (4) or other object is wrapped in the first side of the loop (6) and the distal end of the strap is placed around the bottle and pulled through the buckle (8) until the bottle is securely held in place.

Abstract: A ball-wheeled planter has ball wheels (5) in sockets (6) attached to portions of bottoms (2) of a plant container (1). Preferably the planter has trickle irrigation and fertilizer conveyances (13) from a fluid container (12, 16, 28, 29, 36, 41) proximate a top portion (9) of the planter. A drain basin (10, 20, 23, 25, 31) can have a convenient return pump (17) with manual, electrical or wick operation for returning flow-through water to a top portion of soil in the planter. The fluid container can have regulated outflow to match needs of particular plants (37), soil (38), planter depth and ambient conditions.

Abstract: A folding tailgate seat has a seat (1) and a back support (2) that are foldable to parallel verticality for non-use positioning and unfoldable on a seat hinge (3) to position the seat selectively horizontal and the back support selectively vertical for seating use. At least one non-marring contractional hook (4) is fixable with preferably interchangeability to either a bottom (5) of the seat for a seat-attachment mode or to a back (6) of the back support for a back-attachment mode. In the seat-attachment mode, the non-marring contractional hook is fixable to a horizontally positional vehicle wall such as a tailgate (7) of a pickup truck or of a sports utility vehicle in a lowered horizontal attitude for use of the seat or in a raised vertical attitude of the tailgate for non-use of the seat.

Abstract: Shadow work embroidery designs which can be performed by a sewing machine, preferably a computerized machine with digitized design embroidery patterns. The method employs at least two layers of material, an outer layer (8) of fabric which allows color to show through and an inner layer or layers (6,11), such as fabric or a removable stabilizer. On the inner layer of material is sewn an interior of a selected embroidery design (7) which is filled in with machine stitching. Once completed, an outer layer of garment fabric (8) is placed over the inner layer of material and an outline (9) of the selected embroidery design is stitched on the outer layer of material through the inner layer of material so that both layers of material are sewn together. If the inner layer of material is a removable stabilizer than the outline stitch (9) must catch the edges of the threads of the embroidered design (7).

Abstract: A metal-framed geodesic structure (40) has pyramidal frames (1, 8, 12) made of sheet metal. Edges of the pentagonally pyramidal frames are positioned on top edges of rectangular base wall sections (14). The base wall sections are positioned uprightly and the pentagonally pyramidal frames are slanted radially inward towards a structural center about which the base wall sections and the pentagonally pyramidal frames are positioned circumferentially. Edges of the hexagonally pyramidal frames are positioned on top-corner edges of pentagonally pyramidal frames and slanted inward radially to positions of contact with edges of adjacent hexagonally pyramidal frames in a circumferential ring having a top pentagonally polyhedral center which can have skylights and a ventilation aperture (42) at its apex.

Abstract: A dynamically reconfigurable distributed integrated circuit processor has at least one two-layer matrix in which a first layer has operative microcomputer modules (1) with local memory (2) grouped in computational clusters (5) and a second layer has a network of global communications connecting buses (7, 8) with packet decoders in coherence with the first layer. All components of the basic operating units are micro programmable and in universal communication selectively throughout separate operative microcomputer modules and throughout the computational clusters. Electrical conductivity of components is variable for select speed, timing and factors. A use method is described.

Abstract: Creating relatively pure and consistent crystals of high performance minerals, such as diamond, has long been pursued. Unfortunately, synthesizing crystals that exhibit deep bonding generally requires high temperatures and high pressures for the formation of large crystals. Alternatively, high pressure and explosive shock waves can also be utilized, as demonstrated by closed-bomb diamond synthesis. Diamond crystal formation at lower temperatures and pressures have been demonstrated, but the formations have been thin and inconsistent. A method of forming diamond and the synthesis of other high performance crystals that are consistent, and can be grown to larger sizes has not existed, nor has a means of providing uniform and consistent thin layers of diamond and other such crystals been demonstrated.

Abstract: A portable curb ramp (1) for wheeled vehicles and equipment (4) having a curb conforming contact surface (7) and a planar road contact surface (6) on an underside and a sloping top surface (5) to allow tires (3) to transverse from a road surface up and over a curb (2). The sloping top surface (5) may have a plurality of transverse ridges (8) for improved traction. The underside curb conforming contact surface (7) may have a lip which extends over the top of the curb and one or more ridges (9) on the planar contact surface to reduce slippage of the ramp on a road surface. Magnets (13) attached to the planar contact surface allows the ramp to be secured to metal surfaces (14) on the wheeled vehicle and equipment so the ramp is readily accessible. The curb conforming contact surface (7) may have two low bearing side walls (16) with a hollow cutout (12) in between in order to reduce the weight of the ramp.

Abstract: A sleeve (1) for beverage containers (2) made of a substantially planar rigid material, such as cardboard, having side sections (6) which are foldably connected along folding creases (4) to form a sleeve having a top opening (3) for inserting a container. The sleeve has a bottom coaster (11) which is foldably connected to a bottom of one of the side sections which is supported by a strut (8) under the coaster adhesively attached at a folding tab (9) to the bottom of the coaster. An extension (7) on the coaster (11) is also provided to extend through a slit (18) in the folding strut for additional support. When the sleeve is assembled, the entire coaster (11) and strut (8) fold up into the body of the sleeve for easy storage and shipping. When the sleeve (1) contains a beverage container during use configuration, the coaster (11) covers the entire bottom of the sleeve, thereby preventing moisture from wetting or damaging a surface on which it is placed.
