Abstract: A note pad of repositionable adhesive sheets in whcih one edge has an irregular design to facilitate removal of individual sheets from the pad.
Abstract: A mill for shredding objects by rotating hammers. Each hammer has two heads and is mounted to rotate on its central axis. Thus both heads are operative for shredding without stopping the machine.
Abstract: A portable apparatus which produces high temperature and pressure steam derived from a microwave energy source for the rapid sterilization of medical and dental appliances. Items to be sterilized are placed in a detachable high pressure chamber which is then attached to the microwave powered steam source. Microwave energy is coupled into a guiding structure containing a shaped impedance transformation element so that essentially all of the microwave energy is transferred to a reaction fluid contained in a holder at the end of the matching element. The reaction fluid is rapidly vaporized and the resulting vapors rapidly expand into the chamber through a metal screen that also prevents transmission of microwave energy. Pressure temperature values internal to the chamber are used to control application of microwave power thereby maintaining an optimum micro-organism kill condition for a prescribed time interval.
Abstract: A system of rollers that form a conveyor for parcels. The roller units are made up of segmented roller elements so that the parcels can be conveyed in any horizontal direction. Each roller unit has a plurality of spokes to maintain the segmented roller elements in position. A replaceable bearing unit permits the series of roller units to be accommodated on shafts of various configurations.
Abstract: A slide valve adapted to be secured to a flexible container and having an open position and a closed position. The valve comprises a body member and a slide. In the open position openings in the body and slide coincide. In the closed position an air tight seal is provided. The valve is constructed to have two discreet positions and a sealing ring on the slide that engages the body member to effect the air tight seal.
Abstract: An automatic golf ball teeing device in which golf balls are fed to a tee for driving. The device is in the form of a portable platform that may be moved to desired locations. The design of the automatic golf ball feeding mechanism permits a shallow platform raised a minimum amount above the ground.
Abstract: An expandable shaft of the slotted type made of a fiber and resin composite material. The shaft is fabricated by first forming the central cylindrical core and then forming the rails by pultrusion. The rails are then bonded to the outer surface of the core.

Abstract: A system for retaining a toilet seat and seat cover in a verticle position against a toilet water tank that comprises an elastic band that encircles the water tank. The seat and seat cover may be selectively held under the elastic band against the tank.
Abstract: A ball and socket type universal workpiece support is provided that is locked in its normal state. A balanced system of spring force is provided to lock the positioner in any position chosen by the operation. It will remain in the selected position until fluid pressure is provided to release it for movement to another position.
Abstract: A holder for a remote control device for controlling electronic equipment as television and video cassette recorders. The holder protects the device while permitting ready access to the control buttons. Full adjustability is provided to enable the holder to accommodate devices of different widths, lengths and thicknesses.
Abstract: A portable food cooking apparatus in which there is a line of cooking stations and a parallel line of serving stations. These are separated by a suitable smoke baffel and a trough to receive cooked food items from the cooking stations.
Abstract: An angioplasty apparatus for removing abnormal deposits such as atheromatic plaque from the internal arterial walls is provided. The apparatus includes an elongated, flexible mechanism for insertion in an artery to the location of plaque deposit. Two inflatable occluder balloons are provided to be positioned at either ends of the plaque section and inflated to seal off the section. A milling balloon is adapted to be positioned in the plaque section to be rotated and bear against an expandable milling surface which is gradually expanded as the plaque deposit is milled away. Because of the sealing balloons, the plaque particles are prevented from passing into the arterial stream and may be taken away through a tubular channel.
Abstract: A system for determining the sag of an overhead power transmission line to prevent flashover to adjacent objects on earth. A tension measuring device is provided to produce a sign as a function of powerline tension. The signal is processed and transmitted to a distant location by cellular communication to a distant central monitoring station. Knowing the sag-tension relationship of the monitored line the sag is determined. Thus action may be taken if the powerline sag becomes excessive.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for jumping or charging a discharged automobile battery in order to start an automobile. Jumper cables are provided having indicator lamps to insure correct polarity connecting of cables. A switch, controlled manually or by timer establishes connection between the charged and discharged battery to charge the latter for a predetermined period of time. A circuit breaker to automatically disconnect the circuit in a situation where a dangerously high content would flow.
Abstract: A door closure mechanism comprising a frame and sliding door adapted to close a doorway to effect a shield against electromagnetic radiation and other environmental conditions. The sliding door is suspended for lateral movement and is adapted to bear against the frame and be secured to it to effect a seal.

Abstract: A board game that simulates a baseball club franchise in which the objective is to maximize income and team player quality. Commercial baseball cards are used having real life players and their playing statistics. The winning point score depends upon the monetary income and the baseball card player statistics.
Abstract: A sleeveless jacket that would be worn by the user of a chain saw. The front and shoulders of the jacket are padded with a material that jams a chain saw if it cuts into the padding to protect the user from being cut by the saw.
Abstract: A holder for a looseleaf pad that is adapted to be mounted to a computer monitor or similar device. The holder may be mounted to either the left or right vertical side of the monitor or to a horizontal surface such as the monitor top. The holder has an L-bracket having a horizontal arm and a vertical arm that may be attached to either end of the horizontal arm depending on whether the user desires to mount the device on the left or right side of the monitor.
Abstract: The invention is a design of protective chaps to be worn over trousers to protect the user of a chain saw. The chaps are asymmetrical and angled to cover the left side of the user's right leg which is especially susceptible to injury.
Abstract: A device for attaching a plow to the front of a vehicle is described. It secures to the plow mechanism and serves to raise it in a balanced manner for convenient attaching to the vehicle.
