Abstract: A watercraft comprising a main body having hull, a bow end and an opposite stern send, a starboard, a port and a deck. A plurality of watercraft articles are removably mountable to the main body and provide for transforming the watercraft into a variety of watercraft types. The main body comprises a watercraft article-receiving assembly for stowing the watercraft articles therein. Thus providing a transformable, multi-functional and self-stowage watercraft. These watercraft types include a kayak, a paddle boat, a sailboat, a catamaran, a trimaran, a motorboat, a sit-in/on windsurfer/sailboard and any combinations thereof. A removable trailer assembly for the land-transport of a watercraft is also provided. A rudder control assembly for a watercraft having a rudder is also disclosed.
Abstract: A vehicle height adjustment suspension device provides for both automatic and selective raising and lowering of a supported portion of a vehicle frame relative a ground surface, while also providing shock absorption. The device includes a suspension assembly for absorbing shocks mounted on a rotatable threaded screw connected to a motor and extending into the suspension assembly. The assembly may be extended and retracted on the screw by rotating the screw in first and second directions to raise and lower the supported portion while the shock absorber assembly simultaneously provides shock absorption capability.
Abstract: An unmanned air vehicle for military, land security and the like operations includes a fuselage provided with foldable wings having leading edge flaps and trailing edge ailerons which are operable during ascent from launch to control the flight pattern with the wings folded, the wings being deployed into an open unfolded position when appropriate. The vehicle is contained within a pod from which it is launched and a landing deck is provided to decelerate and arrest the vehicle upon its return to land.
Abstract: A building construction frame element consists of a wooden core of a single piece of wooden material provided with a thermal break formed of an insulating material extending across the heat conductance path of the element, which may be in the form of stud for a wall or ceiling. A method for producing the frame element is also disclosed.
Abstract: A fuel economy method and system consists of using a signal control unit connected to a throttle of a vehicle and to a mass sensor for sensing a mass of a load carried by the vehicle. When the sensor senses that the mass is within a predetermined mass range below a pre-determined load mass value, the signal control unit reduces the range of power output of the engine. The unmodified engine power output range and modified engine power output range extend from a minimum engine power output to, respectively, an unmodified maximum engine power output and to a modified maximum engine power output lower than the unmodified engine power output and thereby requiring less fuel. Accordingly, the range of engine power output, and notably the maximum engine power output available, is reduced when the mass is in the pre-determined mass range, thus reducing fuel consumption compared to the unmodified engine power output range.
Abstract: An apparatus for moving an object has a contact plate, a first member connected to the contact plate and extending radially away therefrom, and a second member connected to the first member and slidable relative thereto along an axis defined therewith. The contact plate is sized and shaped for abuttingly extending against a portion of the object and a ground surface when the members are disposed between the ground surface and the object. The second member is slidable between a retracted configuration and an extended configuration to facilitate sliding and storage of the members underneath the object and for subsequent pulling on the members in a desired direction to cause the contact plate in abutment to cause the object to move in the desired direction.
Abstract: An extendible shelter connectable to a building has an extendible frame and a plurality of covers, connected to an outermost frame end, for covering the frame. Adjacent covers are connected to one another at outermost edge ends of their adjacent edges, which are threaded through a fastener. As the frame is extended outwardly away from the building, the adjacent edges are drawn through the fastener, which fastens the edges together to automatically fasten the adjacent covers. When the frame is retracted, the fastener unfastens the edges and covers. Anchor for locking wheels for the frame in fixed position on a ground surface over which the shelter extends are also disclosed.
Abstract: An entirely mechanical gas bottle dispensing machine that allows to either only dispense by gravity a filled bottle upon insertion of a first token or dispense a filled bottle with return of an empty bottle upon insertion of a second token.
Abstract: A package stream indexer device for indexing a stream of packages being displaced thereon within a stream plane includes a first articulated track with live rollers and a second articulated track with depending pressure wheels for maintaining packages in contact with the first track and within the package path defined there between within the stream plane. The first and second articulated tracks are each composed of a plurality of interconnected links frictionally engaged together to allow adjustment in track orientation from one set position to another by means of dynamic movement on the track.
Abstract: An automated case order preparation system including a crane for transporting groups of depalletized product cases to temporary storage on shelving, and to a plurality of gravity-powered case guides, for accumulating and dispensing cases to fulfill client order pallets.
Abstract: A steam humidifier provided by the present invention has a tank having a reservoir section and a cover removably and sealingly secured thereto. The tank contains water during a humidifying operation in which the humidifier humidifies an indoor environment. The cover has a heating element mounted thereon and extending therefrom into the reservoir section and a steam outlet assembly mounted thereon and extending therethrough into the tank. The heating element evaporates at least a portion of the water during the humidifying operation into steam output through the steam outlet assembly to humidify the indoor environment.
Abstract: A blade insert assembly and frame therefor for a blading boot are securable on a base of the frame to a sole of the blading boot for ice-skating. The blade insert assembly accommodates two blade elements in tandem, each blade element being secured via an insert adjustment mechanism and a mounting pin to the frame.
