Abstract: A device for protectively housing up to four golf club woods which allows for easy access, removal, and replacement of each golf club wood and easy identification of a particular wood in a protective enclosure when the club is not in use. The device includes a premolded plastic or rubber compartmentalized housing, shaped somewhat like a cloverleaf having separated, equally sized compartments, each compartment contoured in shape to receive and support a full-sized, inverted golf club wood head. Each compartment has at its base, a passage for receiving a shaft encompassing tube, the tube being frictionally attached at one end within the compartment passage. The tubes act to support the device in a vertical position and are sized in length equally and cut such that the length of each tube is slightly greater than the length of the longest club shaft utilized. A resilient cover is disposed over the top of the housing to protect the clubs when not in use.
Abstract: An athletic device for restraining hand movement about the wrist which allows for variably increasing or decreasing the relative stiffness of the restraining member that is adjustably coupled to the back and side of the hand and wrist. The device is used to prevent wrist "break" or undesired hand movement during the delivery of a bowling ball. The device includes a plurality of wrist and hand embracing straps coupled to an L-shaped housing that encloses a removeable, inflatable restraint chamber that is sized to reach from the first knuckle longitudinally past the wrist. The housing includes finger engaging loops. The firmness and individual comfort of the restraint may be adjusted by controlling the volume of air (air pressure) within the support member.
Abstract: A corner bracket for use in mounting and locating a mounting bracket for a window covering including an inverted L-shaped mounting plate having a plurality of preformed slots and holes for receiving the mounting bracket in a predetermined location and at least one perpendicular laterally extending flange for abutment with a support surface adjacent a window opening for locating the mounting plate in the corner of the window opening.
Abstract: In an adjustable valve means in a sprinkler device, a locking system that includes a breakaway wedging member connected to an adjustable two part sprinkler device and a wedging cavity positioned between the two parts of the sprinkler device to lock the two relatively moveable parts together.
Abstract: An improved utility table mounted on the back of a reclinable seat, such as those found in commercial airplanes, for use by the passenger occupying a second seat immediately behind the first seat. The table top includes forward and rearward sections which fold onto each other. The utility table is removeably supported by arms which are pivotally attached to the back of the first seat. The rearward section is connected to the forward section by hinge means. When the rearward section is folded onto the forward section the table may then be used as a small table for holding drinks. Thereafter the folded table may be pivoted as a unit into the first seat back for storage.
Abstract: An improvement for the assembly of ground rods, comprising a fitting having two threaded portions, the first as a guide portion being adapted to receive an unthreaded ground rod and a threaded gripping portion adapted to grip the end of a rod through deformation of the threads when the rod is forceably inserted in the fitting. Conjointly usable therewith is a similarly threaded terminal fitting adapted to receive an electrical ground line and retain the same permanently in a contact position when the fitting is forceably driven on the rod.
Abstract: A flat plate collector of parallelepipedal configuration for a solar energy system, comprising a plane collective surface for the reception of solar energy with internal channels designed to maximize turbulent flow of heat-absorptive fluid therethrough and provide a maximum of heat absorptive surface in proportion to the volume of fluid content. As designed, the collector is adaptable to mass, low-cost production.
Abstract: The carrier includes a top member, a base member and at least two adjustable vertical side members. The vertical side members are adjustable horizontally to vary the width between the side members to accommodate printed circuit boards of varying width. The vertical side members include a plurality of adjustable brackets having a printed circuit board carrying surfaces positioned in a horizontal plane. The brackets are adjustable vertically for accommodating printed circuit boards of varying dimensions.
Abstract: A non-fouling fluked anchor having a yoke-like shank in which the yoke arms are arcuate and pivotally attached to a pointed, center mounted fluke such that the arcuate arms of the shank provide for variable positioning of the fluke point to insure initial penetration of the fluke point in sea floor bottoms having different degrees of hardness. The fluke tip, the yoke frame, and the anchor line tether establish a three point contact with the sea bottom. The arcuate yoke shank arms allow a variable initial penetration angle of the fluke from 15 degrees to approximately 67 degrees. As a relatively harder sea bottom is encountered the anchor, due to the action of the arcuate yoke will pivot to provide a steeper fluke angle to insure penetration. Once the fluke has penetrated the bottom the anchor will then assume the secured position at the conventional holding angle.
Abstract: A one-piece flexible guard for excluding dirt and other foreign matter from the internal parts of a pop-up sprinkler. More particularly, a flexible circularly shaped piece of material which can be attached to the edge of the fixed housing assembly of a pop-up sprinkler. Said material having a circular hole in its center in which the pop-up sprinkler protrudes, said movable part being securely attached to said material along the edge of said circular hole. The guard being attached to the sprinkler in such a way so as to exclude foreign matter from the internal parts of the sprinkler while permitting the movable nozzle portion free vertical or horizontal movement. In an up position the outer perimeter of the guard forms a dam. The sprinkler also may provide fluid to wash the dirt from outside of the dam portion of the guard when the nozzle is in the extended or up position.

Abstract: A perpetual monthly calendar for showing the numerical days of any month related to the proper days of the week comprising a rigid planar surface having a plurality of pegs spaced apart in a horizontal line disposed near the upper edge of the surface and a plurality of vertically positionable rigid strips bearing columnized numerical indicia indicative of particular numerical days, each strip removeably coupled to a different peg. Displayed on the planar surface adjacent each peg are indicia correlating a particular peg to a particular day of the week. The numerical indicia on each strip is displayed in column form, displaying the appropriate numbered sequence one week apart. Each strip has a pair of vertically disposed apertures (except the strip having the first day of the month, which has a single aperture), each of which may receive a peg to mount the strips vertically on the board. A particular monthly numeral-day array is achieved by positioning the strips relative to the pegs.
