Abstract: This invention presents a method for improving and enhancing certain desirable physical and organoleptic properties of baked, whipped, and blended food products. The improvement is achieved by adding to the products, prior to preparation, an effective amount of a ferment produced by the fermentation of dairy product with a culture of Streptococcus diacetilactis, optionally mixed with Streptococcus lactis and/or Streptococcus cremoris.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an elastic paint composition, having a substantially uniform mixture comprising:(A) a water-based polymer emulsion; containing at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of acrylic esters and methacrylic esters having a glass transition temperature of 30.degree. to -60.degree. C., and(B) (1) a reactive compound dissolved in an organic solvent, selected from the group consisting of a compound having at least three methacryloyl radicals and a molecular weight of at least 200 that becomes hardened by the reaction of their methacryloyl radicals with ultraviolet rays, and(2) a compound having at least one double bond and a molecular weight of at least 300 that becomes hardened by the oxidation reaction at the double bond, wherein the amount of said organic solvent is in the range of 5 to 50 percent, based on the weight of water in said mixture.
