Abstract: The pump has several cylinders which are arranged in a row narrowly adjacent to one another and which accommodate the stroke working spaces of plungers or pistons. The stroke work of the pistons is hydraulically transmitted to diaphragms which close off pump working spaces inside of diaphragm working spaces in the direction of the cylinders. Because of the arrangement of the diaphragm working spaces or of the pump working spaces on different sides of the cylinder block, diaphragms or diaphragm working spaces may be arranged which have cross-sections that are large in comparison to the distance of the cylinders from one another.
Abstract: A device for locking an actuating lever of a shifting device of a gear-change mechanism of a motor vehicle, in a lever position associated with a particular shift state utilizes a swivellable locking element connected to a brake pedal via an adjusting linkage to be moved into a locking position by a restoring spring holding the brake pedal in the unactuated rest position. Depression of the brake pedal releases the actuating lever. The adjusting linkage contains a resiliently-acting intermediate member acting on the locking element control to position a counter-control cam into engagement with an actuator control cam to lock the actuator. When the actuating lever is actuated into a nonlockable lever position, the locking element is moved into a floating position against the spring force of the intermediate member, while the brake pedal remains essentially in a rest position by virtue of an enlargement of the effective length of the adjusting linkage.

Abstract: The invention relates to an intake system for a mixture-compressing internal-combustion engine, having a heating element of flat form which is arranged in the intake channel downstream of a fuel-injection nozzle. The heating element is intended for heating the fuel/air mixture and which, above a specific cooling-water temperature, can be transferred from a working position extending transversely relative to the direction of flow into a position of rest lying in the direction of flow. The invention also relates to the method of the heating element position and electrical controlling heating status.
