  • Patent number: 8251314
Abstract: A cargo receiving arrangement for an aircraft hold with a cargo receiving area provided therein with at least one folding loading bridge (4, 5, 6) and a loading door (20) which closes the aircraft hold in a swivelling manner in the region of the loading bridge, characterized in that a loading door inner face (23) of the loading door is designed in such a way that, when the loading door is swung to, the folding loading bridge folds upwards as a result of the contact with the inner face of the loading door. This is important especially in regions of varying aircraft width, since the loading bridge collides there with the loading door.

  • Patent number: 7347871
Abstract: A breast prosthesis fabricated from silicone and characterized by an outer shell shaped region and an inner shall-shaped region wherein the inner region is profiled in the form of rings arranged concentrically around the mamilla. The rings may be formed bellows-like adapted to be pushed toward one another when pressure is exerted on the prosthesis. Annularly shaped recesses and beads may be arranged between the rings. The inner region may consist of lower density silicone gel having a firmness of lower penetration value but firmer than the outer region. Preferably, the outer region is slightly thicker above the manilla than below the manilla, and may have a third shell shaped region arranged between the outer and inner shell shaped regions. A recess can be provided in the lower part of the prosthesis to define an air cushion for permitting silent release of air from the prosthesis responsive to pressure applied against the prosthesis.

  • Patent number: 7125398
Abstract: The present invention provides a needle guard comprising a base having a needle well to guide the point of a needle into the patient and, at the same time, for confining the pointed end of a needle within the walls of the needle well until the needle is inserted into a patient. The base is connected by at least a connector to a handle. The connector is constructed to allow the needle to be pushed beyond the needle well thereby exposing the needle. The connector also limits the extent to which the needle can be retracted. This prevents the needle from being pulled past the needle well as the needle is extracted from the patient. As a consequence of the construction, the point of the needle is substantially maintained within the needle well, except when the needle is inserted into the patient.
