Abstract: The method is for cooking of cellulose pulp in which the raw material, preferably in the form of chips, undergoes a successive elevation of temperature towards the cooking temperature while the chips are first impregnated with an impregnation liquor followed by cooking in a cooking liquor that is preferably alkali. Through the addition of pre-evaporated black liquor, either as early as the impregnation stage or during the subsequent cooking stage, an improved delignification process is achieved in which the pulp obtains improved properties, primarily with respect to strength/viscosity for a given degree of delignification, and also with respect to yield. The method can be used both for continuous cooking and for batch cooking of cellulose pulp.
Abstract: This invention relates to a new and improved way of continuously cooking fiber material, wherein temperatures and alkaline levels are controlled to be maintained within specific levels in different zones of the digesting process in order to optimize chemical consumption and heat-economy, and, at the same time, achieving very good pulp properties.

Abstract: A tooth having a tooth surface with a plurality of tubules and microchannels defined therein is treated with a polymeric hydrogel formed by a polyphosphazene substance and a metal salt. The polyphosphazene substance may be combined with a pharmacologically active substance before the hydrogel is formed via a reaction with the metal salt so that the hydrogel functions as a vehicle for the pharmacologically active substance.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for continuously producing pulp in which finely divided fiber material, preferably wood chips, is impregnated in an impregnation vessel (10), preferably by being fed in at the top (14) and fed out from the bottom (16) of the said vessel (10), in which cooking pressure essentially prevails in the said first vessel (10). The impregnation vessel, preferably, does not have a screen. The chips are heated and impregnated with the aid of black liquor that is concurrently flowing with a flow of the wood chips which have been thoroughly impregnated with boiling hot black liquor are transferred to the top (28) of a steam-phase digester (12). The pulp is permitted to flow passed at least one screen girdle (32) for drawing off spent liquor. The drawn off spent liquor has a high amount of effective alkali.
Abstract: The present invention is a blade 1 for a club shaft including a blade 1 comprising different guiding elements such as a ball rolling line 7 that guides the ball to at least one aperture 16 or between two different apertures 16, 17 that make it easier, when the ball is in the aperture to drive, dribble, cover and shoot. The apertures 16, 17 provide for a lower air resistance and are optimal for shooting because the ball is always on the right spot on the club. This results in faster and more powerful shots. The blade 1 also provides for a defensive technical feature through the blocking protrusion 14 which gives the club shaft and the blade the right height above a support layer when the club is laid down thereon for covering a shot. Finally, the blade 1 also provides for the possibility of being used for advertising or team display since the apertures 16, 17 can be provided with a resilient advertising material such a rubber based sheet material.
