Abstract: A liquid droplet ejection head comprises an ejector, a liquid viscosity-increase prevention structure and a liquid viscosity-increase prevention controller. The ejector includes a nozzle for ejecting a liquid droplet, a pressure chamber communicating with the nozzle through a communication path, and an actuator for applying pressure to a liquid in the pressure chamber. The liquid viscosity-increase prevention structure prevents an increase of viscosity of the liquid in the ejector. The liquid viscosity-increase prevention controller changes the operation frequency of the liquid viscosity-increase prevention structure between when the liquid droplet is ejected from the nozzle and when ejection of the liquid droplet is paused and no liquid droplet is being ejected from the nozzle.

Abstract: According to an aspect of the invention, a light-emitting element includes a shift thyristor, a light emitting thyristor, and a vertical type gate load resistor. The shift thyristor includes a first anode layer, a first gate layer, and a first cathode layer. The light-emitting thyristor includes a second anode layer, a second gate layer, and a second cathode layer. The vertical type gate load resistor is arranged on the first gate layer under a power line and limits a current flowing from the first gate layer and the second gate layer to the power line.

Abstract: A roller hemming system for hemming nested panels includes a single hemming workstation providing for tooling exchange operations simultaneous with hemming operations. A plurality of robots that perform tooling exchange at the hemming workstation, movement of nested panels through the system, and hemming operations on nested panels at the hemming workstation. Nested panels are inputted into the system and hemmed nested panel assemblies are outputted from the system.
Abstract: There is provided an image forming mechanism including: an image carrier containing a lubricant in a photosensitive layer that is formed on a surface of the image carrier, and on which an electrostatic latent image is formed; a developing section developing the electrostatic latent image into a visible image by a developer that contains the lubricant; and a cleaning member formed with a first layer that contacts the photosensitive layer, and a second layer that is formed of a material having a lower modulus of repulsion elasticity than the first layer and that is layered with the first layer and that does not contact the surface of the image carrier.
Abstract: Disclosed is a binder for electrode formation, which is obtained by dispersing a polyolefin resin containing 50 to 98% by mass of an unsaturated hydrocarbon having 3 to 6 carbon atoms and 0.5 to 20% by mass of an unsaturated carboxylic acid unit in an aqueous medium together with a basic compound. This binder for electrode formation is also characterized in that the content of a nonvolatile water-compatibilizing agent is 5 parts by mass or less per 100 parts by mass of the polyolefin resin.

Abstract: Disclosed is a resin composition forming an adhesive layer between a polylactic acid resin substrate layer and a polyolefin resin substrate layer. The resin composition includes a modified polyolefin resin (A) and a terpene resin (B), and the mass ratio (A)/(B) between the both resins (A) and (B) is 20/80 to 99/1. Alternatively, the resin composition may be a resin composition including 10 to 90% by mass of a polylactic acid resin (C), 5 to 89% by mass of the modified polyolefin resin (A) and 1 to 80% by mass of a hydrogenated petroleum resin (D), with the total amount of these resins constrained to be 100% by mass.
