Abstract: A golf club arrangement provided with indicia means to aid in the reading of the break of a green. The shaft of the golf club has a slot extending in the longitudinal direction which is either left open or filled with a distortion free transparent filler having parallel planar surfaces on opposite sides of the shaft. A square tubular shaft allows a maximization of the width of the slot to aid in the use of the indicia means. A cross hair intersects the indicia means at right angles to facilitate the positioning of the club. When the green is observed through the slot and compared to the indicia means, both the break in the green due to the natural lie of the grass and the overall slope of the green may be determined.

Abstract: An air filter arrangement for cleaning the ambient air in enclosed air spaces. Granular activated carbon and two particulate air filters provide the actual air filtration media to remove both gaseous and particulate air impurities. The structure of the air filter retains the particulate filters in position by friction. One of the particulate filters is placed between the granular activated carbon and the air filter metal retaining screen without intervening support or protection from the activated carbon. A fountain of fresh air is provided by directing the exhaust of the air blower toward the ceiling of the room thereby creating a low pressure area surrounding the air filter near the floor. Dirty air near the floor migrates toward the low pressure area and enters the air filter where it is cleaned. The remaining dirty air in the room sinks as a pool mass slowly toward the floor where it eventually enters the filter.

Abstract: A golf club arrangement provided with means for "reading" the green. The shaft of the golf club is provided with at least a transparent portion extending in the longitudinal direction thereof. The transparent portion has an indicia such as an opaque line extending along the longitudinal direction and may be either on the surface or internal the transparent portion of the shaft. When the club is held vertically and the green observed through the transparent portion the natural lie of the grass can be more easily seen by reference to the angle made by the grass with the indicia.

Abstract: An improved frictional interconnecting toy block arrangement having a hollow body means fabricated of a semi-flexible material such as a blowmolded plastic. The interconnecting of the toy blocks with each other is achieved by female coupler means and male couplers. The male couplers are part of the body means and unitarily fabricated of blowmolded plastic during the fabrication of the body means. The female coupler means are fabricated of a more rigid plastic such as an injection molded plastic which can be fabricated to close tolerances. The female coupler means fits and is retained within apertures molded into the walls of the body means. Relief means, such as slots, are provided in the female coupler means to allow for dimensional variations of the male couplers that are inherent in the blowmolding process and still provide interlocking with the male couplers.
