Abstract: Disclosed is a scintillator plate comprising on a substrate a phosphor layer formed by a process of vapor deposition, wherein a thallium compound having a melting point within ±70° C. of that of CsI and CsI are deposited on a substrate to form a thallium-activated phosphor layer.
Abstract: A method for operating a memory device that comprises periodically generating a refresh request signal for performing a refresh operation, providing an access request signal for performing an access operation, performing the refresh operation if the refresh request signal occurs prior to the access request signal, and performing the access operation if the access request signal occurs prior to the refresh request signal.
Abstract: Suspension transport systems which operate automatically or predominantly automatically and which are used for the transport of spools make use of whole trains on which a plurality of spools is arranged. This, however, means that, e.g., in a ring spinning frame, the whole train will have to be exchanged when the first spool is empty. In order to avoid the resultant waste and in order to provide increased flexibility in the motion of the spools used in such a system of automatized or largely automatized operation, the present suspension transport system uses spools equipped with a travelling device of their own, the travelling device remaining on the spool when the spool is inserted into a processing machine. It is thus possible to handle each spool individually, as well as in a train. The suspension transport system is particlarly suitable for transverse insertion into a ring spinning frame.
