  • Patent number: 7409231
Abstract: The present invention relates to an information processing apparatus and method, a recording medium, and a program which allow a user to immediately and easily know whether or not transmission of desired data is completed and the direction of transmission of the data. Readers/writers 23-1 through 23-4 and RF tags 24-1 through 24-4 detect an electronic device which is placed adjacent thereto and the direction in which the electronic device is placed. The readers/writers 23-1 through 23-4 and the RF tags 24-1 through 24-4 obtain identification information of the electronic device when the electronic device placed adjacent thereto is detected. A communication unit 22 communicates with the electronic device over a network based on the identification information.

  • Patent number: 6138303
Abstract: A system for adjustment of the angular setting between parts in a bed or another reclining or sitting article of furniture, in which the article has two or more mutually adjustable, articulated parts, and where the frame is mounted in a support member by means of transverse axles or axis journals. A pivot axis (2) of a back member is fixed against translation in a pivot bearing (11) on the support member. The axes (3, 5) of the remaining part(s) are movably mounted in the longitudinal direction of the support member. The back member axis (2) is mounted at a distance from the joint connection (1) of the seat member (S).

  • Patent number: 5701166
Abstract: An active matrix liquid crystal display comprising a plurality of address buses substantially parallel to one another, a plurality of data buses substantially perpendicular to the address buses, and a plurality of picture elements arranged in a matrix. Each picture element is surrounded by at least one common address bus and two adjacent data buses and includes at least two display electrodes separated from one another; a first switching transistor coupled between a first one of the adjacent data buses, the common address bus, and a first one of the display electrodes; a second switching transistor coupled between a second one of the adjacent data buses, the common address bus, and a second one of the display electrodes; a first capacitor coupled between the first data bus and the second display electrode; and a second capacitor coupled between the second data bus and the first display electrode.

  • Patent number: 5612952
Abstract: A packet switch has a buffer memory for storing data obtained from data packets having routing tags input from a plurality of different input ports. Plural routing tag registers store the respective routing tags in the order of input. Plural address information registers respectively corresponding to the plural routing tag registers store address information representative of a buffer memory storage region where data corresponding to the routing tags are stored. A controller searches the routing tag registers in the order of their input. A reading is made of address information stored in the address information registers corresponding to routing tags for a special output port. Data stored in the storage region of the buffer memory indicated by the address information is output to the special output port.

  • Patent number: 5606927
Abstract: An under thread supply apparatus for a sewing machine comprises a bobbin case, a bobbin exchange device, a thread removal device and a winding device. The bobbin case is removably set to a shuttle of the sewing machine and accommodates a bobbin with the thread wound thereon. The bobbin exchange device takes the bobbin case out of the shuttle, and sets the bobbin case accommodating the bobbin with the thread wound anew therearound to the shuttle. The thread removal device removes the thread from the bobbin accommodated in the bobbin case which is taken out. The winding device winds a preset amount of thread around the bobbin after the thread is removed therefrom.
