  • Patent number: 7831441
Abstract: Responding to an account reactivation request includes receiving an account reactivation request from a former subscriber having a deactivated account and automatically accessing stored account information related to the deactivated account based on the account reactivation request. The stored account information is compared with a reactivation standard to produce a comparison result. Based on the comparison result a response to the reactivation request is provided. The receiving, accessing, comparing, and responding may be performed by a computer without interaction between the former subscriber and a service representative.

  • Patent number: 7697465
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for receiving Multicast and Broadcast Service (MBS), include: adding information of a next MBS_MAP message in a current MBS_MAP message; determining receiving information of the next MBS_MAP message according to the current MBS_MAP message and the information added in the current MBS_MAP message, receiving the next MBS_MAP message according to the receiving information determined, and receiving the MBS service according to the next MBS_MAP message received. The embodiments of the present invention also provide two other methods, apparatus and a system for receiving the MBS service. The method, system and apparatus provided by the embodiments of the present invention implement the continuous receiving of the MBS service without the requirement of frequent receiving the DL_MAP message.

  • Patent number: 6430785
Abstract: An object of this invention is to provide a zipper pull of resilient body which is attached to a slider in a lateral direction thereof and capable of sliding the slider by rotating the zipper pull slightly so that the zipper pull is held in a stabilized state. A zipper pull mounting portion is provided on a top surface of a slider body and a connecting body of a zipper pull is disposed in a lateral direction relative to the mounting portion. The connecting body is comprised of two lateral bars disposed in parallel and vertical bars connected to both ends thereof so as to be protruded longitudinally. One of the vertical bars is buried in the zipper pull of resilient body so as to form a fixing portion. The zipper pull has an annular shape for surrounding the slider body. The lateral bars of the connecting body are inserted into the mounting portion.

  • Patent number: 6157236
Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus and method for repairing or improving the behavior of a tunable circuit of an integrated circuit (IC) when a target parameter exceeds a predetermined range due to a design and/or fabrication problem. The tunable circuit includes one or more tuning controllers for tuning a corresponding number of target circuits. Each tuning controller includes one or more registers and an optional decoder. Each target circuit includes a tunable portion and a functional portion. The functional portion can have one or more of a wide variety of functions including but not limited to logical gates, buffers, signal generators and amplifiers. The selectable parameters of the tunable circuit include timing delays, trip voltages, rise/fall times and/or output impedances. When a circuit designer wishes to tune the target parameter, an appropriate tuning pattern is latched into registers of the tuning controller.
