    Abstract: An annular combustor system has an annular housing defining a single stage combustor, an external fuel/air premixer system to provide a preselected, nominally constant lean fuel/air ratio mixture for introduction to the combustion zone of the annular housing. Compressed air conduits channel a portion of the total compressed air flow to the premixer and the remainder to the dilution zone of the combustor. Convection cooling of the annular housing and the turbine shroud is accomplished using essentially the remainder portion of the compressed air without diluting the fuel air ratio in the combustion zone. The premixer includes a venturi, and a fuel nozzle for spraying fuel into the venturi inlet along the venturi axis to provide admission of the fully premixed fuel/air mixture.

The inhibitor comparator compares the first derivative signal to a feedback signal and sets and outputs an inhibition signal in a blocking state when the first derivative signal bears a first relationship to the feedback signal. The latch comparator prevents the transmission of the peak signal when the inhibition signal is in the blocking state. The feedback circuit samples the inhibition signal and the output of the latch comparator and to produce the feedback signal.

    Abstract: To ensure that a user of radio paging services receives page messages while traveling, page messages are broadcast over both the user's local paging channel and a nationwide paging channel during periods of scheduled travel. At all other times, page messages are broadcast over the user's local channel and accompanied by tone-only messages of abbreviated length broadcast over the nationwide channel. Receipt of a tone-only message provides user notification that he or she was paged over the local channel. Receiving logic in the pager carried by the user automatically switches the pager between local and nationwide channel frequencies under the control of channel marker codes transmitted over the local channel and a switching code included in tone-only messages received over the nationwide channel. To facilitate system management, all page messages are routed through a nationwide paging terminal.

Uniformity of caliper in the cross machine direction can be optimized by providing multisectional driers in the cross machine direction, a series of output signals from the caliper sensing means being transmitted to the respective drier sections for individual adjustment of the drier parameters.

Simultaneously the user's inspiration volume can be measured by merely observing the amount of liquid displaced from one container to another. The respiratory therapy device is comprised of two containers connected by flexible tubing which are raised and lowered relative to one another by appropriate linkage connected to a motor either cyclically or intermittently dependent upon the needs of the user. A user tube which communicates with the interior of one container acts as the conduit to the mouth of the user for expelled air when positive pressure is developed within the container.
