Abstract: A reconfigurable computer system based on programmable logic is provided. A system design language may be used to write applications. The applications may be automatically partitioned into software components and programmable logic resource components. A virtual computer operating system may be provided to schedule and allocate system resources. The virtual computer operating system may include a virtual logic manager that may increase the capabilities of programmable logic resources in the system.
Abstract: Disclosed is an insulated conductive ball for anisotropic conductive connection, a method of preparing the same and a product using the same. The insulated conductive ball includes a conductive ball, and an insulating resin layer coated on a surface of the conductive ball, in which the insulating resin layer is formed of water-soluble resin beads of core/shell structure. Therefore, the conductive ball of the current invention can exhibit superior current feed and insulation characteristics, compared to those of conventional insulated conductive balls for anisotropic conductive connection coated with thermoplastic resin or thermosetting resin.

Abstract: Interconnectable panels having tongue-and-groove connections are mechanically connected to each other by first moving two panels into an intermediate position and then pivoting one panel with respect to the other. The underside of the tongue of one panel has a depression, while the groove of another panel has a protruding lower lip. The lower lip has a projection that fits in the depression when the two panels are in the intermediate position.
Abstract: A system for passively analyzing an aggregation of communication signals simultaneously passing through a network link performs spectral analysis on a trace of communication traffic through the network link. The spectral analysis identifies period components of the trace corresponding to different communication signals. A system for deterring the passive analysis of signals aggregates communication traffic through a network link, such that a plurality of signals simultaneously pass through the network link. The plurality of signals is regulated such that the data packets corresponding to the plurality of signals leave the network link at a common rate. A memory temporarily stores the data packets as they enter the network link, and a timer maintains a fixed time interval for releasing the data packets from the memory.

Abstract: The invention provides a composition containing particulate composite of a polymer and a therapeutic agent. The composition also contains a complexing agent. Abstract: Edge rails for a mattress core are combined with an upholstery layer to provide a pre-assembled work piece that provides a perimeter about a mattress core. The edge rails, which may be foam, may be attached to the upholstery layer with hinges that permit each edge rail to rotate relative to the upholstery layer between an unassembled, flat position and an assembled, upright position. In the unassembled position, the work piece may present a relatively flat profile for more convenient bulk storage. In the assembled position, the edge rails are positioned to closely surround a mattress core of suitable size.
Abstract: Foamed thermoplastic polymeric mechanical planarization polishing pads (“MP pads”) made with supercritical fluids are presented. A supercritical fluid foaming agent is dissolved in a thermoplastic polymer. A rapid change in the solubility and volume of the supercritical fluid foaming agent in the thermoplastic polymer results in foaming of the thermoplastic polymer. Foamed thermoplastic polymeric MP pads are advantageously both significantly and uniformly porous.
Abstract: A logic device logic module includes multi-stage combinational logic circuitry (e.g., a four-input look-up table) into which EXCLUSIVE OR (“XOR”) circuitry is interposed to give the logic module arithmetic as well as combinational logic capabilities. The XOR circuitry is used to help form an arithmetic sum output signal (as an alternative to a combinational logic output signal) when arithmetic mode operation is desired. The logic module is also augmented with circuitry for providing a carry out signal in arithmetic mode. The logic module can perform such arithmetic operations as one digit or bit of binary addition, subtraction, or multiplication. In all cases a carry in signal is taken into account; and in the case of multiplication, a digit from another partial product or summation of other partial products is also taken into account.
Abstract: An on-line scheduling application allows users to personalize how television-related, entertainment-related, and social event related information is provided. Users may select one or more sources from which the information is obtained. Users may set up a date book that is also used as a source. Users may select one or more delivery schemes that the application uses to provide the information. One or more of the personalization features of the scheduling application may be incorporated into an on-line television programming guide.

Abstract: Novel system and methodology for sampling analog input signals to reduce an average common-mode input current caused by unbalanced nodes of an input signal source. An analog-to-digital (A/D) conversion system for converting an analog input signal supplied by a signal source having first and second nodes may have a first sampling circuit coupled to the first node for sampling the input signal with respect to a reference signal and configured so as to provide a substantially zero total charge taken from the first node during a first sampling process, and a second sampling circuit coupled to the second node for sampling the input signal with respect to the reference signal and configured so as to provide a substantially zero total charge taken from the second node during a second sampling process. In response to first and second output signals respectively produced by the first and second sampling circuits, an output circuit may provide common-mode rejection.
Abstract: Circuits and methods to correct the load sharing in multiphase switching regulators are provided. Using these systems and methods, the input capacitor voltage signal can be sampled and used for current sensing of the regulator's stages. Differences in the amount of output current for a converter stage can then be determined. Corrections needed to equalize the output current of the converter stages can then be determined and carried out.
Abstract: Arterial and venous smooth muscle cells are molecularly distinct from the earliest stages of angiogenesis through to adulthood. This distinction is revealed by expression on arterial cells (e.g., arterial endothelial cells, arterial smooth muscle cells) of a transmembrane ligand, called EphrinB2 whose receptor EphB4 is expressed on venous cells. Targeted disruption of the EphrinB2 gene prevents the remodeling of veins from a capillary plexus into properly branched structures. Moreover, it also disrupts the remodeling of arteries, suggesting that reciprocal interactions between pre-specified arterial and venous cells are necessary for angiogenesis.
