  • Patent number: 8334754
Abstract: To improve communication between tags by causing a mobile object having a RFID tag attached to transmit an interrogating wave only when moving in a communication range to reduce power consumption and prevent occurrence of tag confusion. By acquiring two Doppler signals from 2-frequency transmission waves (CW) with different frequencies and respective reflected waves and detecting phase difference from the Doppler signals, a cargo (21A) is detected to be moving in the communication range (A). Only when the movement is detected, a reader-writer (1A) transmits the interrogating wave (RW).

  • Patent number: 8333385
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a portable archery target. The portable archery target includes a main target body having a geometric shape. The geometric shape has a first side and a second side. The first side has a first target zone, while the second side has a second target zone that is separate and distinct from the first target zone. At least one of the first target zone and the second target zone has a first three-dimensional animal-simulating indicia. The present disclosure also relates to a method of manufacturing a portable archery target. The method includes adding a resin into a mold cavity that defines a geometric shape of the portable archery target. The mold cavity has a first surface that defines a first target zone and a second surface that defines a second target zone. At least the first surface has a contour that provides a three-dimensional animal-simulating target. The method also includes closing the mold cavity to form a foam body and removing the foam body from the mold cavity.

  • Patent number: 8334946
Abstract: A flat panel display includes a backlight with a plurality of lasing elements. A light distributor distributes light from the lasing elements across the flat panel display. In edge-lit backlights, the light distributor may be a light guide. In direct-lit backlights, the light distributor may be one or more light diffusers that randomize the polarization of light. A polarization enhancement film increases the polarization of light from the light distributor by allowing light of a first polarization to pass through the film and reflecting light that is not of the first polarization back into the backlight. The light reflected back into the backlight is randomly re-polarized within the backlight. An array of light modulators arranged across the flat panel display modulates light emitted by the backlight.

  • Patent number: 8335211
Abstract: When an IP terminal on the Internet side transmits a name resolution request, which requests to resolve the FQDN of a public server connected to a router, to a SIP/DNS server in which SIP and DNS cooperate to manage the status of the data line of the router and when the data communication line status of the router is a disconnect status, a data communication line connection request instruction is transmitted to the router. The router connects the data communication line and notifies the SIP/DNS server about the result. The SIP/DNS server transmits the IP address of the router to the IP terminal as a response.

  • Patent number: 8334594
Abstract: The present invention relates to a chip having a metal pillar structure. The chip includes a chip body, at least one chip pad, a first passivation layer, an under ball metal layer and at least one metal pillar structure. The chip body has an active surface. The chip pad is disposed on the active surface. The first passivation layer is disposed on the active surface, and has at least one first opening so as to expose part of the chip pad. The under ball metal layer is disposed on the chip pad. The metal pillar structure is disposed on the under ball metal layer, and includes a metal pillar and a solder. The metal pillar is disposed on the under ball metal layer. The solder is disposed on the metal pillar, and the maximum diameter formed by the solder is shorter than or equal to the diameter of the metal pillar. Therefore, when the pitch between two adjacent metal pillar structures of the chip is a fine pitch, the defect of solder bridge can be avoided, so that the yield rate is improved.
