Abstract: It is a new steam broom for floor cleaning with a boiler (C) for steam production connected to two ducts for steam delivery, the delivery duct (CF) for front jets and the delivery duct (C1) for lower jets and a detergent delivery duct (CD), the opening or closing of the valve (VU) for steam output from the boiler is controlled by the operation device (DA), connected to the arm (M1) of the handle (M), so that the rotation of said arm (M1) around the hinge (M?) causes the displacement of said operating device (DA), thus causing the opening of said output valve (Vu). Said boiler (C) comprises two pressure gauges (P1) and (P2), a device for jet deflection (D) shuts one or more delivery ducts (CF), (C1) and (CD) by compressing them.
Abstract: A cigarette lighter has a removable fuel cartridge with a reservoir for holding flammable liquid fuel, a valve for controlling the flow of fuel into and from the reservoir, an ignition actuator for causing ignition of the fuel, a nozzle for causing the ignited fuel to form a lighting flame, and a valve actuator that cooperates with the ignition actuator to open the valve as the ignition actuator is actuated. The reservoir has a transparent portion which is aligned with a window in the lighter housing to allow external observation of the fuel level in the reservoir. The transparent portion includes indicia for gauging the amount of fuel. The indicia is structurally contoured to provide means for engaging the reservoir to remove the fuel cartridge from the lighter.
Abstract: A cigar cutter has a body formed of a pair of plates having aligning orifices defining a passage for the head of a cigar to be cut. A pair of opposed cutting blades, movable toward and away from each other within the body each have a cutting edge, which cooperates with the opposing cutting edge during toward movement to cut the cigar head. Each of a pair of bridges is affixed to one of the cutting blades and moveable therewith. A spring engages the bridges and biases them toward an extended position wherein the cutting edges are moved away from each other within the body. A latch automatically engages both of the blades approximate the inward terminus of their toward movement and maintains the blades in a retracted storage position wherein the edges are not exposed. The cutting edges are each inwardly tapered to cause the edges and the cigar to cooperate to force the opposing blades together during their toward movement to automatically sharpen the blades.
Abstract: A mortar launching toy has an angularly adjustable firing barrel and a soft rocket-shaped toy mortar for being launched from the barrel in various modes of play. The toy includes a spring-activated launching pole to which the mortar is pre-loaded, the mortar/pole subassembly is loaded into the barrel to prepare for launching. A locking feature retains the subassembly in the barrel prior to launching. A trigger mechanism cooperates with a symmetrical dual-finger release mechanism to release the mortar during launching. The locking feature retains the launching pole in the barrel during launching.
Abstract: A diving stick of the type that, after being tossed into a swimming pool, sinks to the bottom while maintaining an upright posture so that it be can easily grasped by a diver. The stick includes a soft hollow shank designed to prevent accidental impalement. The stick also includes means for swapping components to vary the number of subsets of sticks within a set.
Abstract: A throwing and catching ball and several games using the same are disclosed. The ball has a perforated outer shell surrounding a hollow interior chamber containing a water-filled balloon. Activation of an actuator adjacent the outer shell, such as when catching the ball, causes a prick to extend into the chamber to burst the balloon and the liquid splashes from the chamber onto the catching victim. A removable fitting allows the balloon to be easily replaced after bursting. A filling system allows the balloon to be filled from outside of the ball after its insertion into the chamber.
Abstract: A game table is disclosed having a support structure including a large normally horizontal tabletop and legs that are adapted to allow the tabletop to be quickly and effortlessly repositioned into a vertical storage position where the legs are disposed parallel to and against the tabletop so that the table occupies less floor area during periods of non-use.
Abstract: A disposable container for holding and dispensing one oral care, candy and/or medicinal strip at a time, without the need to open the package or to insert one's dirty fingers into the package, thereby eliminating the contamination of the remaining strips, and allowing the use of only one hand to dispense a strip directly on to the tongue, thereby eliminating the need to place ones dirty hand into the mouth.
Abstract: A game table is disclosed having a support structure including leg assemblies at either end supporting the table. The support structure includes release/lock mechanisms and counterbalancing elements causing an upward force against said tabletop to substantially offset the weight of said tabletop. The leg assemblies are adapted for adjustment to facilitate vertical movement of said tabletop. The release/lock mechanisms are disposed proximate to the players normal positions to allow the players to alter the height of the tabletop without leaving their playing positions.
Abstract: A game comprising a submersible retrieving submarine adapted to receive and interpret RF directional command signals, an RF transmitting remote controller adapted for sending such signals to cause the craft to submerge and then cause the submerged craft to move in selected underwater directions, and targets of assigned values adapted for standing on the underwater bottom. The craft is adapted with a hook for engaging the targets and carrying them to the water's surface so that the accumulated value of the collected targets can be tallied to provide a score. One or more players can compete to tally the highest score, using either one controller/submarine set consecutively, or two sets simultaneously.
Abstract: A squirt gun includes a hollow housing in the form of a gun with a liquid dispensing assembly within the housing. The liquid dispensing assembly includes a rigid pressure vessel having either a gas-filled compressible bladder or a spring-loaded piston disposed within. The vessel is connected to a flexible tube with a nozzle at one end, and the gun is adapted to receive and expel water to and from the vessel through the nozzle. A pivotable trigger cooperates with the flexible tube to either enable both the receiving and expelling, or to deny the expelling of the water. To fill the gun, water is forced into the vessel under pressure, which compresses the air bladder or the piston to retain that pressure within the water-filled vessel. To expel the retained water, the trigger is moved to an “open” position, which allows the water to be forced from the pressurized water-filled vessel, through the nozzle, and from the gun as the air bladder or the piston expands.
Abstract: An apparatus for playing two games, one at a time, in a swimming pool. The apparatus comprises a floating support having first and second portions, a first game target disposed in the first portion and a second game target disposed in the second portion, wherein the support may be disposed first portion up or first portion down, and is shaped and arranged to float stably in either orientation, so that of the first or second games my be played accordingly.

Abstract: A food-heating appliance has a heating unit with a bottom and at least one upstanding sidewall, a heating chamber with an annular lip, and a heating element. A cooking unit is also provided with a bottom and at least one upstanding sidewall, a cooking chamber adapted to be at least partially received within the heating chamber, and a medial wall upstanding from the bottom wall defining at least a first and second cooking subchamber. The heating element supplies heat to the cooking unit via the heating chamber to heat the first and second cooking subchambers.
