Abstract: A system and method for enabling longitudinal and radial drilling in a wellbore is described. The system and method enable an operator to perforate the casing of a wellbore with an under-reamer at the end of a drill string and, without removing the drill string from the wellbore, initiate and complete lateral jetting of the wellbore into the surrounding formation. The system utilizes a perforation tool having a ball seat, which upon seating a drop ball in the ball seat enables the perforation tool to move from a closed position to an open position thereby allowing access to the formation using a jetting tool. Prior to seating the drop ball, an under-reaming operation may be performed using a hydraulic pressure activated under-reaming tool.
Abstract: A squareness testing instrument (1, 100, 200) has one or more pairs of arms (2,3, 122,123), such as a one or more pairs of slats or rods, pivotally interconnected using suitable fasteners (4). The one or more pairs of arms are shaped such that they can fit substantially squarely into a corresponding imaginary rectangle (6A, 6B, 106, 206) with at least some arm ends (8, 108, 128, 208) in contact with sides thereof irrespective of the relative pivotal positioning of the arms. The instrument is positionable inside a frame type structure (14, 114) and pivotable apart to try and bring at least some of the arm ends in contact with sides (18, 19, 118, 119) of the structure to test at least one of the squareness and parallelism thereof.
Abstract: A flexible fluid storage system for holding large volumes of fluid and a process and apparatus for the handling and transportation of the flexible storage system is provided. The flexible storage system includes a main storage bag with an attachment apron with fingers, a ground sheet, a lay flat tube for fluid circulation, a pressure release port, and fill/drain ports. The flexible storage system is configured for attachment to a trailer and reel system such that the flexible storage system can be mechanically rolled onto or off of a reel on a semi-truck trailer bed for easy transportation, deployment, and storage of the flexible storage system.

Abstract: Sifting apparatus, for sifting solid particles from a gaseous or liquid fluid, having a rotating conical filter and fan blade assembly connected to the filter exterior, both rotated together by a motor/pulley assembly, the fan blades slanted in a direction opposite the rotation direction, so that air is drawn through the filter from its interior to its exterior, having an inlet for admission of air only at the narrow end of the filter, and having a receptacle for collection of the particles at the broad end of the filter. Applications include cleaning of particle contaminants from air; cleaning beach sand by sifting out broken glass, sea weed or other debris; extraction of mineral particles from water slurry; collection of soil samples picked up by an air stream; lawn maintenance collection of weeds, leaves and burrs; biohazard removal operations; and an alternative to auger food particle transport in food processing.
Abstract: Air filters for use in nostrils, building structures and vehicles. The air filter is washable, reusable, non-toxic, and, for nostrils, comfortable to wear. It filters or stops allergens, while allowing airflow.
