  • Patent number: 7913718
Abstract: A noise reduction system for use with a DWV system to reduce the noise emitted from the DWV system when waste water flows through the DWV system. The noise reduction system includes a sleeve and a spacer. The noise reduction system is mounted on the pipes and fittings of the DWV system.

  • Patent number: 7824873
Abstract: A blood crossmatching apparatus, kit and methods for testing the compatibility of mammals for blood transfusion. Particulate layers in the apparatus allow nonagglutinated red blood cells to permeate through, while agglutinated red blood cells cannot. The apparatus also has a density solution. The density solution separates white blood cells from red blood cells in the whole blood when centrifuged, without lysing the red blood cells. Thus, the apparatus can be used to test whole blood.

  • Patent number: 7810847
Abstract: A waterproof sleeve coupling for use in a partition for preventing liquid from leaking through a penetration in the partition either adjacent to or through the sleeve coupling. The sleeve coupling has a flexible water stop mounted in sealing contact with a sleeve so that a waterproof seal is formed between the water stop and the sleeve. The sleeve coupling optionally includes an extension coupling and an extension sleeve mounted on the sleeve. When the sleeve coupling is mounted in the partition, the extension sleeve extends beyond the surface of the partition to prevent liquid on the surface of the partition from leaking into the passageway of the sleeve coupling.

  • Patent number: 7562648
Abstract: A jointless connection head for a fuel line for use in a high pressure fuel connection assembly for a high pressure fuel system and a method for forming the connection head without brazing. The connection head has an essentially spherical outer surface with a liner located in an inner cavity in the connection head. The connection head is formed by expanding the center bore of the tubular body of the fuel line at one end. The center bore is expanded by moving the sidewall of the tubular body outward. The liner is then inserted into the expanded center bore and the sidewall of the tubular body is formed over the front side of the liner.

  • Patent number: 7229237
Abstract: A tool for removing an object from a hole in a workpiece which includes a first and second arm pivotably connected together. Each arm having an opening between the ends. The second arm also has a drill hole at the second end. A liner bushing and a drill bushing can be provided in the drill hole. To remove the object from the workpiece, the drill hole is positioned over the object and the arms are adjusted until at least one (1) of the openings of one of the arms is positioned over an existing hole in the workpiece. A securing bolt is then inserted through the opening in the arm into the hole in the workpiece and tightened to secure the tool to the workpiece. Next, a drill bit is positioned in the opening of the drill bushing adjacent the object and rotated until the drill bit is completely through the object.

  • Patent number: 7225725
Abstract: A pneumatic motor for providing bi-directional linear motion including a motor housing having a cylinder bore and a piston mounted on a piston rod positioned in the cylinder bore. The ends of the piston rod extend beyond the ends of the cylinder bore. The cylinder bore has a liner which acts to provide lubrication for movement of the piston in the cylinder bore and to provide a seal between the piston and the cylinder bore. The motor can be used to provide the drive means for a linear motion conveyor.

  • Patent number: RE41962
Abstract: A pneumatically actuated, beltless conveyor assembly includes a housing, a drive system supported by the housing and at least one transport tray supported by the housing and operatively connected to the drive system. The drive system includes a seal-less pneumatic engine having at least one pair of opposed, pneumatic drive bellow assemblies. One of the drive bellow assemblies acts to drive the transport tray in one direction at a first predetermined speed to advance materials supported on the transport tray in the direction of the length of the tray. The other of the pair of drive bellow assemblies acts to drive the transport tray in a second direction opposite to the first direction and at a second, predetermined speed that is different from the first predetermined speed such that the transport tray moves relative to the material supported thereon.
