Abstract: A lacrosse stick head in which the lacings of the head are secured to flexible tabs one end of each of which is inserted into the material of the frame of the head.
Abstract: The invention concerns a block fuel element consisting of only one carbon matrix which is almost isotropic of high crystallinity into which the coated particles are incorporated by a pressing process. This block element is produced under isostatic pressure from graphite matrix powder and coated particles in a rubber die and is subsequently subjected to heat treatment. The main component of the graphite matrix powder consists of natural graphite powder to which artificial graphite powder and a small amount of a phenol resin binding agent are added.
Abstract: A method of cutting desired pieces from a heat-severable material in which a tool is provided to cut a shape corresponding to one projection of the pieces in one direction and to cut a second projection of the desired pieces in a direction at right angles to said first cut, and a unitary tool to perform the method.
Abstract: A variable speed device comprising a pair of discs driven from a source of power each disc having rack teeth forming its surface. The device including also a pinion in mesh with the rack teeth of each disc mounted to be movable radially of the disc to vary the speed of an output shaft in relation to the rotation of said disc.
Abstract: An advertising multiple use mailing folder or mailer including an envelope which may be twice used in furthering the completion of a business transaction.
Abstract: A digging tooth provided with two points for use especially at the corners of a power digging bucket so that the shovel cuts better at its corners resulting in less binding of the bucket when making a second cut. This also results in better corners at the bottom of a narrow ditch.
Abstract: In a variable diameter driving sprocket for a chain drive change speed device comprising a plurality of circumferentially spaced radially movable toothed elements mounted on said driving sprocket over which the chain is threaded; a means to move the toothed elements radially which includes an adjusting gear or sprocket coaxial with said driving sprocket but free to rotate with respect to said driving sprocket, and differential means drivingly connecting said adjusting sprocket to said variable diameter driving sprocket.
Abstract: An improved filtering circuit connected to the inverting terminal of an operational amplifier having connected in parallel a first resistor and three series capacitors. Two series resistors are connected in parallel with the center capacitor and the junction between the two series resistor is connected to a fixed potential.
