    Abstract: Disclosed is a gas lighter easy to use, capable of stably maintaining a diffusion flame allowing a visual confirmation of the combustion condition and criticality, irrespective of use in the place influenced by the wind or the like. Further provided is a gas lighter capable of externally performing a fuel gas flow control with ease to maintain a combustion balance between a premix flame and a diffusion flame. The fuel gas stored within the fuel tank is distributed for ejection to form a premix flame and a diffusion flame burning together with the premix flame. A flame hole for premix flame is juxtaposed with a nozzle hole for fuel gas to generate the diffusion flame. An externally operable fuel gas flow control mechanism is provided in a fuel gas flow passage for producing the diffusion flame. A combustion flame of the gas mixture is produced downstream of a catalytic member.

A metal or an alloy mainly consisting of at least one type of a metal selected from the group consisting of iron, chromium, and nickel is impregnated in the porous material body at a ratio of 25 vol % or more of the open pores. The metal is filled in pores present in a region from the surface to at least a predetermined depth. The metal-impregnated refractory product can withstand various high-temperature damages and can be stably used over a long time period.

The computer corrects the anticipated rear-end collision time in response to an acceleration and the relative velocity. The computer produces a warning of signal and an alarm is provided in response to the corrected anticipated rear-end collision time.

Accordingly, the sending multiplex node can simultaneously collect data from the receiving multiplex nodes which are functionally subordinate. When any of the receiving multiplex nodes fails to return an ACK signal, the sending multiplex node retransmits the data frame.

When the predetermined condition is satisfied, the memorized information is provided as valid data in a step S5.

The photographic data stored in the EEPROM is written in a first magnetic track on the film by a first magnetic head arranged in a magnetic information control circuit, at the time of the rewinding of the film. In addition, when a film with which photography is already finished is loaded in the camera, the .mu.COM, while advancing the film, causes the first magnetic head to reproduce the data written in the first magnetic track on the film and stores the reproduced data in the EEPROM.
