Abstract: A co-molded plastic pinch clip with certain portions thereof formed from different materials. The clip is adapted to be secured to the body of a hanger, to a clothesline, or any other suitable element. The clip comprises a pair of complementary jaw members formed of a relatively hard plastic material joined together by a bridge-like member. The bridge-like member is joined, at each end, to the middle portion of each of the complementary jaw members by means of a living hinge. A substantially rigid, resilient member engages and presses against the outer surfaces of the complementary jaw members to maintain the relative positions thereof and, as well, force them into engagement at one end. Each jaw member includes a relatively soft plastic pad on the opposite sides of the opposite ends thereof such that a pair of soft plastic pads are disposed in abutting relationship at the inner engagable ends of the clip and a pair of soft plastic pads are disposed at the outer pressable ends of the clip.

Abstract: A valve monitoring system including at least one valve having a movable handle with an activator therein mounted adjacent to a support panel on which are disposed a plurality of sensor devices responsive to the activator and a separate indicator panel for displaying the position of the valve handle. The activator at the handle and the sensor devices interact to selectively indicate operational conditions of the valve. In addition, a motor can be used to move the handle, and reconfigure the valve, as desired.
Abstract: The invention features an improved lighting fixture structure with temperature control and stray light reductions, together with a unique directional pivot/extension mounting mechanism.

Abstract: Retrofit fluorescent lighting fixtures for installation into a surface mounted cylindrical lighting fixture of the square or cylindrical shape. A 4-wire assembly is used for replacing conventional incandescent light bulbs with fluorescent light bulbs in existing lighting fixtures recessed downlights, in particular. The retrofit lighting fixtures include, inter alia, a threaded connector, a ballast, a heat exchanger, a fluorescent light source connector and a threaded body for receiving a reflector glass.
Abstract: An improved aiming tube pivot assembly for use in a sighting and/or aiming apparatus which comprises an aiming tube axially mounted within an outer tube (or housing). A support ring supports the aiming tube within the outer tube in a gimbal-like arrangement by means of ball bearings and set screws. The ball bearings are secured intermediate the aiming tube and the support ring via apertures in the outer tube. The set screws are threadedly mounted in the support ring and engage the outer surface of the outer tube. A movable cover tube can be mounted on the outer tube and substantially encloses the end of the outer tube and the support ring.
