  • Patent number: 7156866
Abstract: A holistic method of therapeutic laser treatment for body tissues in a problematic area, comprising the following steps: using a laser discharge probe to irradiate the tissues in the problematic area and additionally treating a body energy path through the problematic area by irradiating the body tissues along an energy path, as defined in Eastern medicine, through the problematic area so that energy flow is normalized in the problematic area. One aspect of this provides for a method as above wherein the energy flow path comprises meridians of energy flow as defined in acupuncture and wherein treatment points along the energy flow path comprise acupuncture points. In yet another preferred aspect of this invention the energy flow path comprises Jin Shin Jyutsu energy flow paths and the treatment points along the energy flow paths comprise energy spheres.

  • Patent number: 7125507
Abstract: In windshield crack repair it is necessary to move a repair tool alongside a crack and manipulate a resin injection head to remain in close proximity to the crack at all times. A three cupped tool is disclosed which exhibits here before unavailable lateral and longitudinal stability even when one of the cups becomes unadhered to the windshield. The tool comprises an elongate frame having an upright injection head attachment means on one end; an upright frame height adjustment means on the other opposite end; and, a central portion having three suction cups, each having an upright axis, and each oriented for attachment to the windshield. In a preferred aspect of this tool the axis of a suction cup closest to the injection head generally is in alignment with an elongate axis of the elongate frame and the upright axis of the other two cups are offset similar amounts from the axis of the elongate frame. This arrangement facilitates visibility and manipulation of the injection head along a crack in a windshield.

  • Patent number: 7118165
Abstract: A collapsible upright wall extends the height of the sides on the load hauling box on a truck. The collapsible upright wall comprises a fabric which when vertically stretched provides adequate resistance to substantial lateral load. A method of increasing the volumetric capacity of the box on a truck comprises the steps of: a) providing a rectangular frame above, and dimensioned to seat adjacent to an open top side portion of the load hauling box on the truck; b) providing a substantial lift mechanism to uniformly lift the rectangular frame above the box; and, c) providing and attaching an elongate strip of fabric having a top elongate side portion peripherally attached to the rectangular frame, and a bottom elongate side portion peripherally attached to the open top side portion of the box. Then when the rectangular frame is lifted to an upper operable position the fabric is stretched taut and is thereby able to sustain significant lateral load.

  • Patent number: 7040362
Abstract: A log splitter comprising: a base; a lever having one end portion hingably attached to the base; a wedge slidably attached to a hinged end portion of the lever, to slidably reciprocate along the lever when the lever is swung; a log support for a cut log; and, an upper end log restraint slidably positioned on the lever, said log restraint having a pawl, and the lever having teeth therealong, so that the log restraint can only slide towards the cut log. When the lever is swung down the wedge is forced into the cut log, and when the lever is lifted the wedge is slidably pulled back along the lever thereby pulling the now partially split log so that the upper end log restraint freely slides along the lever. When the lever is again pushed downwardly the cycle is repeated. The lever may be pushed with a foot pedal.

  • Patent number: 6997599
Abstract: An agitation system for a mud tank to prevent core material initially suspended in the drilling mud, from settling. The method agitates sludge and eliminates the need to hand shovel sludge from the tank after dumping. The method comprises the step of pumping mud taken from within the tank through a permanently mounted rubber nozzle directed at mud on a bottom portion of the tank. In a preferred aspect of this invention the tank is a cylindrical and longitudinally mounted on a truck for waste mud hauling, and has a rear end cap hinged to a top portion of the tank, so that when a front portion of the tank is marginally elevated and the end cap is hinged opened, mud dumps from a rear end portion of the tank.

  • Patent number: 6918496
Abstract: A shelf constructed from lightweight sheet metal, which can be used in conjunction with a “French” type box easel, and carried and stored within the box of the easel. The shelf itself maintains a shelf supporting arm in an upright plane so that a holding end of the arm is able to support a vertical load from one and only one arm supporting hook thereon. The shelf assembly comprises: a horizontal shelf member having a vertically extending portion(s) having two vertically extending openings therein; two support arms each having a rear end portion having one, and only one rear hook extending from a top portion thereof, a longitudinal horizontal top side portion to carry the shelf member, and a vertically extending projection adapted to be closely received within the openings in the shelf member. When the arms are received in the shelf member the arms are maintained in an upright position and the shelf assembly is thereby stable under load when hung on and over the support.
