Abstract: A method for determining a flow of data is described. The method includes determining whether a packet including a first number of at least one bit within a first set is assigned a classification value based on the at least one bit within the first set and determining a result to be applied to the packet upon determining that the packet is assigned the classification value. The method further includes analyzing, by a processor, at least one bit of a second number within a second set of the packet upon determining that the packet cannot be assigned the classification value based on the first number of at least one bit of the packet.

Abstract: A return-flow electronic fuel pressure regulator for a fuel-injected engine fuel system is plumbed to the fuel rail and return line of the fuel system. The regulator includes a fill chamber connected to the fuel rail, a return chamber connected to the return line and a return reservoir disposed between the fill chamber and return chamber. Fuel flow from the fill chamber to the return reservoir is regulated via a diaphragm valve assembly. Fuel flow from the return reservoir to the return chamber is subject to restriction by an adjustable valve. Integral comparative pressure sensing means measures the fuel pressure drop between the return reservoir and return chamber. An electronic control module, preferably programmed to maintain a constant pressure drop between the return reservoir and return chamber, receives a signal from the pressure sensing means and outputs a power supply signal to the fuel pump to control pump speed.
Abstract: A programmable fuel pump control for a fuel system includes integral sensors, an expansible fill chamber and a return chamber. The control can be used in either a return-style of returnless fuel system. The expansible fill chamber is in fluid communication with the fuel rail. A restrictable fuel passage connects the fill chamber to a return chamber that in a return-style fuel system can be optionally connected to a return line. The control includes an integral pressure transducer measuring fuel pressure relative to intake manifold pressure and one or more adjunct sensors that allow real time control of a fuel pump speed, and therefore fuel pressure, as a function of engine performance.
Abstract: This disclosure suggests microelectronic substrates with thermally conductive pathways. In one implementation, such a substrate includes a body and a thermally conductive member. The Body has a first surface that includes a microelectronic component mounting site, a second surface separated from the first surface by a thickness, and an opening extending through at least a portion of the thickness. The opening is outwardly open at one or both of the surfaces and has a first portion having a first transverse dimension and a second portion having a larger second transverse dimension. The thermally conductive member includes a first thickness, which is received in the first portion of the opening, and a second thickness, which is received in the second portion of the opening. A transverse dimension of the second thickness of the thermally conductive member is greater than the first transverse dimension of the opening.
Abstract: The present invention is a canopy structure comprising a frame and a canopy. The frame comprises a plurality of arms and legs, where each of the arms extends outwardly from a central connecting member to a leg, each arm and leg being joined by a leg connecting member. Preferably, each leg is telescopic and is lockable and the central connecting member preferably comprises a releasable locking mechanism. The present invention further comprises a mechanism by which the canopy surface can be tilted to angles relative to the ground.
Abstract: A single point hinge and a method of thermoforming a plastic container including a single point hinge include a lid, a tray, a single point hinge connecting the lid and the tray. The single point hinge includes an angle formed by a lid chamfer and a tray chamfer. The single point hinge further includes a lid well adjacent to the lid chamfer and a tray well ajdacent to the tray chamfer, and the lid connects to the lid well and the tray connects to the tray well.

Abstract: The present invention provides compounds and compositions useful for controlling bacterial biofilms as well as for controlling and/or preventing bacterial infections. The compounds of the invention are pentacyclic acid triterpenes. Methods for controlling biofilms and for controlling and/or preventing bacterial infections are also disclosed.
Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions and methods for reducing or inhibiting biofilm comprising modulating expression of a cysB gene in a cell. The invention also provides methods for modulating the expression of a cysB, cysD, cysI, cysJ, cysK, and ybiK. The invention further provides methods for identifying gene(s) involved in biofilm formation and for identifying biofilm inhibitors.
Abstract: An air cushion control system having an air chamber sensor including an air chamber, a bottom out sensor and an overinflation sensor, an air pump to inflate the air chamber, an air valve to release air from the air chamber, connections for the air cushion control system to an air cushion, and a microprocessor to control the inflation and the release of air from the air chamber. The air cushion control system reduces decubitus ulcers by incorporating both an automatic adjustment system to prevent the seated individual from bottoming-out in the air cushion and measure immersion depth to maximize pressure reduction.
Abstract: A low fluid sensor for an internal combustion engine. The sensor includes a base with helically threaded post and a float slidably mounted on the post. The float rotates about the post as it moves longitudinally along it. In the preferred embodiment, eccentric mounting of the assembly along with its lobe shape act in concert with the pitch of the screw threads and fluid viscosity to dampen the buoyant movement of the float against fluid turbulence. At a predetermined level a latch spring on the float contacts an ignition circuit terminal and grounds the engine ignition circuit. A catch holds the float at the pre-determined level, preventing engine starting, so that the sensor may only be reset by addition of fluid and re-insertion of the dipstick.
Abstract: A method of connecting an optical fiber to a backplane with a right angle bend mount. The bend mount includes a base and a cover that is pivotably connected to the base by a hinge. A clamp is formed by a first pair of opposed surfaces of the base and cover adjacent the hinge. This clamp fixedly grips a ferrule portion of the optical fiber when the base and the cover are closed together. A second pair of opposed surfaces of the base and cover forms another clamp. This clamp fixedly grips a non-ferrule portion of the optical fiber when the base and the cover are closed together. A bent portion of the optical fiber between the ferrule portion and the gripped non-ferrule portion is disposed in a nongripping gap between the base and the cover when the base and the cover are closed together.
Abstract: A shoe construction employs a midsole molded of flexible, resilient material around a rigid plate, where the midsole and encapsulated plate are insertable into a separately constructed outsole and shoe upper.
