Abstract: An electrical connection support for receiving a semiconductor component includes an electrical connection plate having electrical connection pads. A stand-off structure is provided over the electrical connection pads. The stand-off structure may include a supplementary layer provided on a zone of the electrical connection plate which includes the electrical connection pads of the plate and is outside of a place configured to receive a semiconductor component. The stand-off structure further includes electrical connection vias passing through the supplementary layer. These vias are electrically connected to the electrical connection pads of the plate and have outer faces for making external electrical connection (for example, to another electrical connection support in a stacked structure).
Abstract: The present invention provides a product and method of making thereof for the consumption of smokable substances such as tobacco or herbs. The product is comprised of tobacco, homogenized tobacco and/or natural leaf materials and has a hollow conical shape that allows for the easy insertion of smokable substances and further provides for larger amounts of smokable substances in the end of the product the consumer lights, resulting in an initial slower prolonged burn and more even distribution of nicotine. Additionally, the placement of a structure into one end of the hollow cone permits the consumer to consume the majority, if not all, of the smokable substance. This structure also prevents debris and other unwanted materials from being sucked through the end of the product and into the mouth and respiratory system of the consumer.
Abstract: A variable gradient control stick force feel adjustment system for use in aircraft is disclosed. A gradient actuator is operationally coupled to at least one spring cartridge assembly in order to move the pivot point of the spring cartridge assembly with respect to the aircraft's directional hardware so that the tension of at least one manual control stick onboard the aircraft can be adjusted. At least one operational parameter input is provided to the gradient actuator from at least one of the aircraft's onboard control devices in order to effect a change in pivot point for the spring cartridge assembly.
