Abstract: A thermally actuated fluid shuttle valve that is a three-way direction control valve that shifts when fluid passing through said valve reaches a preset temperature. The control valve, including three ports, an internal shiftable spool, and a thermal element, wherein fluid entering a first port from a source of heated fluid passes around a thermal element and out of a second port, until the fluid is warm enough to cause the thermal element to expand, thereby shifting said spool so that the first port is closed, and the second and third ports are in fluid communication with each other.

Abstract: A folding door apparatus for homes and other building structures that is formed of a plurality of panels hinged together in accordion fashion. The door panels are raised and lowered along parallel vertical rails by a pair of winding reels and cable. A stability pin and a plurality of guide pins extend from the outer side edge of selected panels. The rails are hinged to the structure's flooring, and define an inner and outer trackway. The inner trackway for receiving the stability pin, and the outer trackway for receiving the guide pins. The inner trackway further defines a release point at the approximate midway of the length of the rail. In application raising the door panels to an open position, the stability pin remains engaged within the inner railway until stability pin is raised to the release point. At release point the stability pin is disengaged from inner railway for proper folding of the panels.

Abstract: A portable, boat-supported duck blind that is collapsible and adjustable to fit most conventional boats. The boat mounted blind of the present invention includes two substantially identical elongated members, said members are positioned parallel to each other along both sides of the boat, front and rear cross-posts are connected to the elongated members, and first and second upper rails are connected to the cross-posts. Each elongated member is attached to a side of the boat with a pair of bendable posts, and a pair of cylinders is attached to the boat and the elongated members to assist the user in raising or collapsing the blind with minimal effort.

Abstract: A spray delivery system including a sectional boom attachable to a vehicle. The boom includes first and second movable arms and a fixed arm, each arm housing a plurality of spray nozzles. Each arm can include a frame having openings so that the arms are light-weight and so that the nozzles housed in the frames for protection can spray through the openings in the bottom surface of the frame. The movable arms include an operation position and a retracted position and the arms each include a drift shroud covering to prevent wind from interfering with the application of spray from nozzles. The drift shrouds can include windows that align with the openings in the frame such that an operator can see the spray from the nozzle from the operator's seat in the vehicle.

Abstract: A clip placement tool for automatic or manual insertion of a plastic clip workpiece. The tool including a main body having a first feature to affix to an operator handle or affix to a mechanical device as an end-effecter, and a second feature that connects to a vacuum source, a chamber formed within the body, a lip formed at an end of the vacuum chamber and surrounding a static placement post within the chamber. The lip includes two edges that provide a lip-to-clip seal with the workpiece.

Abstract: A basketball shooting aid having visually distinctive designs, configurations and colors for the purpose of sending immediate visual feedback to the athlete, informing the athlete whether the proper technique was employed in the athlete's grip of the basketball, the athlete's release of the shot and the arc and rotation of the basketball during flight. An equatorial track is disposed between a first and second lines defining a first hemispherical half and a second hemispherical half, and the equatorial track further including alternating color members displayed thereon. The basketball shooting aid including a first patch displayed within the first hemispherical half abutting the first line, and a second patch displayed within the second hemispherical half abutting the second line, wherein the first patch and the second patch are on the same axis. For proper gripping of the basketball shooting aid, a first and second outlined hand are displayed.

Abstract: A system for use in filtering a slurry using air pressure to squeeze the slurry material and dewatering it. The system including a source of slurry, a chamber, a filter belt that passes through the chamber, a manifold inlet supplying the slurry to a first side of the filter belt to form a uniform moist cake of the filter material, an inlet seal and an outlet seal to seal a belt inlet and a belt outlet formed on the chamber, and a source of the pressurized air selectively applicable to the chamber to dry the moist cake of filtered material.

Abstract: A controlled shower rinse system installed in a shower stall that provides a means to mix a selected product, like a medicated shampoo or chemical for example, with the water that flows from the conventional shower head of a shower device. The rinse system including a flow injector for effectively blending water from a water supply system and the medicated product and directing the blended water to the shower head of the shower device, a solenoid valve for regulating the introduction of the medicated substance to the flow injector, and a push button operably associated with the rinse system to supply a control signal to the valve for causing operation thereof.

Abstract: A bobbin case tool to aid in the removal and installation of a prior art bobbin case on a sewing machine. The bobbin case tool includes an elongated arm having a clearance, a pair of lead in chamfers, a locking tooth disposed between the pair of lead in chamfers, and a locking tooth face. In application, the bobbin case tool designed to engage a releasing lever of the bobbin case and operatively pivot the releasing lever to an unlock position. The bobbin case tool is positioned so that the locking tooth is engaged in a spindle clearance of the releasing lever. The releasing lever of the bobbin case is rotated by the bobbin case tool until the releasing lever forces a locking plate of the bobbin case out of a spindle locking groove of a sewing machine's bobbin holder.

Abstract: An automotive clamp accessory that can be used with existing prior art clamps to pull on a damaged vehicle's frame. The clamp accessory can be attached to a variety of types of damaged vehicle frames and locations without first being required to remove bolted-on vehicle parts or attached glass in order for the pull clamp to properly access or grab the frame. Once the clamp accessory is attached, straightening is accomplished by pulling on the clamp accessory with an external force to return the frame back to its original shape. In the preferred embodiment, the clamp accessory includes a first end portion, a second end portion, and a wall disposed between the first and second ends that forms a “stair-step” configuration. The first end portion having a pair of opposing pivot bores for mounting the prior art pull clamp thereto. The pivot bores allow the pulling clamp to be tightened in selected positions for various straightening applications.

Abstract: A smoking artifact having a tobacco rod section and a prior art filter section connected to the tobacco rod section. In the preferred embodiment, the tobacco rod section containing a plurality of aloeswood seeds. The aloeswood seeds may be applied either as whole seeds or as a powder from crushed seeds. In an alternate embodiment the tobacco rod section is compartmented into first and second partitioned areas. In this embodiment, the aloeswood seeds is disposed within the first partitioned area, and tobacco is disposed within the second partitioned area. It is an object of the present invention to provide a non-poisonous alternate cigarette to reduce the hazards of smoking.

Abstract: A combination electrician's tool which is substantially a pair of pliers having a first plier portion pivotally attached to a second plier portion. The first plier portion having a first handle and a first jaw, and the second plier portion having a second handle and a second jaw. The second plier further including a cutting edge in cooperation with the first plier, which cutting edge is used before cutting items such as, but not restricted to wire. The first and second jaw portions further include a hammer formed on the outside surface, such that the tool can be used as a hammer. The first and second jaws further define cooperating groove portions having cutting surfaces sized to cut varying sizes of wire and cable, including ROMEX multi-conductor cable.

Abstract: A support device used when applying an ostomy appliance to a wearer, and in particular, a device that assists the wearer in applying the body side member of the ostomy appliance without substantial use of the wearer's arms or hands. The support device assists the wearer to apply steady pressure to the body side member until proper sealing is obtained between the body side member and wearer's skin. The preferred embodiment includes a base member sized to releasably accept the body side member, the base member including an opening sized to the approximate circumference of a stoma opening of the body side member. The support device further includes an end member, and first and second support members vertically disposed between the base member and the end member.

Abstract: An incinerator pre-fill chamber for installation on an incinerator for burning combustible material which allows the operator to continuously re-fill the container of the incinerator with new combustible material while the contents within the container is burning. The incinerator pre-fill chamber includes an elongated case having a first opening aligned in sealing relationship with a second opening disposed in the lid of the incinerator such that when said pre-fill chamber is mounted on the incinerator lid the combustible material can pass from said pre-fill chamber through said first and second openings. The pre-fill chamber further includes a plunger with a platen, at least one side door that opens for loading the material to be burned into the pre-fill chamber, and a trap door that opens when the plunger is actuated thereby permitting the material to pass through the first opening of the pre-fill chamber.

Abstract: A razor handle assembly having a telescoping extension body portion with a loop-handle at one end and a gripping portion at the opposite end, the gripping portion is detachably connected to the handle of a typical shaving razor.

Abstract: A rear blade mounting apparatus for a bulldozer. The mounting apparatus generally includes a frame that extends from the rear of the body of the bulldozer, the frame including a pair of extending loader arms pivotally connected to the rear of the tractor, and a blade pivotally mounted on free ends of the loader arms, and hydraulic cylinders, or the like, controlled to cause the blade to be positioned in various desired positions.

Abstract: A rotatable flagpole apparatus comprising a sleeve, an end cap, a collar, and means for attaching the flag to the sleeve. A flagpole extends within the sleeve, the flagpole having an end member defining a shoulder that is adjacent to a top edge of the sleeve so that the sleeve is rotatably supported by said end member. The sleeve of the apparatus and the flag attached thereto rotates about the stationary flagpole to permit the flag to be parallel with the wind. This reduces the tendency of the flag to wrap itself around the flagpole.
