Abstract: A mobile target assembly for use in small arms practice includes an armor-protected automotive unit with remote control for movement through a target area. Further, the target assembly includes a plurality of repairable/replaceable façades, wherein a selected façade is mounted on the automotive unit. For the present invention, the façade is formed as a land vehicle body and is constructed for intentional destruction by the small arms fire. Importantly, the armor protection provides survivability for the automotive unit in response to small arms fire.

Abstract: A movable pole support includes an upper block and a lower block, each formed with a pole-receiving bore. The blocks are separated by a number of extension posts that maintain the blocks in a parallel position and spaced-apart to define a gap. The gap is sized to accept the edge of a table or counter, and the lower block is equipped with a locking screw that may be threaded into the lower block to secure the movable pole support onto a table or counter. The upper and lower blocks may be formed with a receiving groove shaped to receive a raised table rim, or a lower lip edge. A damage-resistant pad may be provided on any table-contacting surface to avoid damage to the table or counter being used. The movable pole support may also have a pole set screw insertable into the upper block to secure a pole securely within the pole-receiving bore.

Abstract: The present invention includes a skate board having a deck, a pair of trucks mounted beneath the deck and equipped with wheels. The deck is equipped with a plurality of light emitting devices, such as LEDs, which are mounted to the deck in a distinct pattern. The LEDs are in electrical connection with an energy source, such as a rechargeable battery. In a preferred embodiment, the rechargeable battery is mounted into the deck in a removable pack which can be charged without removing it from the deck. A microcontroller may be incorporated which provides for the selective illumination of the light emitting devices, and which may pulse, flicker, or create other aesthetically pleasing illumination patterns.

Abstract: A method- and apparatus are disclosed for mounting vertically two sets of computer components in a back-to-back configuration. The vertically mounted components are interconnected to an internal distribution unit. The pair of sets of vertically mounted components are connected to opposite sides of the distribution unit.

Abstract: The present invention of a Bubbling Liquid Display includes a variable-pressure air source which injects air into a liquid within a panel at variable flow rates into an number of individual chambers to create a unique bubbling pattern for each chamber which includes large bubbles which move upwards within the fluid in the display, and smaller bubbles which move downwards within the fluid in the display. The display may be drained a single chamber at a time, eliminating the need to completely drain the display for maintenance, and also is substantially leak-proof, despite being tipped or knocked over. The display incorporates a fluid which resists evaporation, corrosion, and algae formation, despite being constantly bubbled or exposed to sunlight or other sources of heat, and which may be effectively recirculated through the display. The display is also adaptable to retrofit vending machines, as well as a variety of other useful items, such as point-of-purchase displays and wall-hangings.
