Abstract: A passive dispenser for codispensing a predetermined volume of a first and a second solution into a body of liquid in response to a decrease in the level of said body of liquid comprising a first product chamber having a vent conduit and a refill/discharge pathway, and a second product chamber serially connected to a third product chamber thereabove by means of a conduit entering the second product chamber proximate the bottom thereof, said second and third product chambers having respective vent conduits and said second product chamber having a refill/discharge pathway, said pathways being siphon conduits.
Abstract: An antiperspirant composition of the suspension type comprising an anhydrous alcoholic vehicle having suspended therein one or more of the following astringent salt glycine complexes and a suspending agent: aluminum/zirconium/tetrachlorohydrate glycine complexes; aluminum/zirconium/trichlorohydrate glycine complexes; aluminum/zirconium/pentachlorohydrate glycine complexes; aluminum/zirconium/octachlorohydrate glycine complexes; and aluminum/sesquichlorohydrate glycine complexes. Composition may also contain a non-staining hydrophilic emollient and/or a non-polar emollient and/or a volatile emollient.
Abstract: Long chain aliphatic hydrocarbon ethoxylated alcohol benzoates having a small degree of ethoxylation and believed to be of the general formula: ##STR1## in which: (a) R is a long chain aliphatic hydrocarbon radical having from about 8 to about 18 carbon atoms and n is a number no greater than about 5.These are useful as vehicles in pharmaceutical, cosmetic or toiletry preparations.
Abstract: A display carton formed from a single blank of paperboard or the like having an outer carton structure and an inner product compartment. The outer carton structure has spaced outer front and rear walls separated from each other by a pair of outer carton side walls and said inner compartment comprises a pair of inner side wall panels and a rear panel. The inner compartment is secured to said outer carbon structure so that rear inner compartment panel is not secured to said rear outer carton wall and the inner compartment side panels are not secured to said outer carton side walls so that when the carton is squared and erected said inner compartment may be erected independently of the squaring of said outer carton by snapping said inner compartment into its erected position. A self-centering beam is also provided to insure the automatic centering of the inner compartment.
Abstract: The present invention provides a passive dispenser for use in a toilet tank in which the solution to be dispensed is isolated from the water in the toilet tank. The dispenser comprises of internal reservoir for storing a quantity of the solution, an upper venting means having passive means to provide an upper air-lock, and discharge/refill conduit disposed below the upper venting means, the conduit comprising an air trap chamber and an air refill chamber connected by a transfer port so as to provide a lower air-lock for isolating the solution from the water in the toilet tank.
Abstract: A reversible child resistant closure having a child resistant and a non-child resistant mode of use. The closure is characterized by its low profile and tab that extends outwardly from the closure; this tab being engageable from below when closure is rotated into the appropriate position on the container. An upwardly extending relatively low annular rib is provided on the roof of the closure which serves as the means by which the closure is engaged by the container neck when the closure is inserted into the container neck in its non-child resistant mode.
Abstract: A composition for lightening or coloring hair comprising a liquid vehicle, an oxidizing agent and at least one di-long chain aliphatic hydrocarbon quaternary amine compound and a method for lightening or coloring hair using this composition.

Abstract: An analgesic and sleep-aid composition containing an analgesic (e.g. aspirin, APAP or combinations thereof) and diphenhydramine dihydrogencitrate. Discloses several dosage forms including a two layer tablet in which aspirin is contained in one layer and APAP contained in the other layer; the preferred form being such that the diphenhydramine dihydrogencitrate is contained in the APAP layer.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for assembling hollow balls from molded hemispheres which are fed to the apparatus. The hemispheres fed to the apparatus are received in a plurality of slots located about the circumference of a wheel. While the hemispheres are in the slots, an applicator disc applies a solvent to the hemispheres and pressure cams force the hemispheres together, thereby forming complete balls. The balls are then discharged from the apparatus. The same apparatus may be used to assemble hollow balls from hemispheres which are adapted to be snapped together. In that case, no solvent is applied by the applicator disc and the pressure applied by the pressure cams is used to snap the hemispheres together into hollow balls.
Abstract: A composition and treatment to prevent the symptoms of skin conditions characterized by an offensive odor of the body, such as diaper rash, perspiration odor and athlete's foot. The composition contains as the active ingredient a non-toxic, high molecular weight organic polymeric acid which is not absorbed through the skin. Treatment is by topical application of a dusting powder, aerosol spray, cream or ointment containing 1 to 30% by weight of a high molecular weight organic polymeric acid such as alignic acids, Carbopol resins or other polymeric acids.

Abstract: The present invention provides a passive dispenser for use in a toilet tank in which the solution to be dispensed is isolated from the water in the toilet tank, the dispenser comprising a product chamber having a venting means and a refill/discharge pathway which are held in fluid communication by an inclined conduit. Hydrostatic head obtained by use of the venting conduit in conjunction with the inclined conduit is utilized to prevent the solution from flowing out of the product chamber during quiescent periods. Constriction means in the venting conduit are preferred to modify equilibrium hydraulic forces during the flush/refill cycles.
Abstract: A variable shelf organizer adapted to being assembled to provide shelf organizers of various sizes. The elements are constructed so that portions of them may be broken away to adjust both the length and the width and so that the parts interlock to give product troughs of various widths.
Abstract: An actuator for an aerosol powdered suspension product in which an elongated spiral path is provided in the actuator head to reduce the "fogging" of the sprayed product.
Abstract: A child resistant package is provided which comprises a container body and removable cap. The cap is only removable by applying pressure to the underside of the cap. Access to the underside of the cap is had through a channel which is longer than the length of the finger of an average child but not longer than the length of the finger of an adult.
