  • Patent number: 8251265
Abstract: A spare tire carrier that preserves the vehicle approach angle. The carrier comprises a hitch anchor configured to be mounted on a vehicle towing hitch; a fork having tines affixed to the back end of the hitch anchor by means of a hinge; a sleeve slidingly mounted on the fork's handle; a lower shoulder bar essentially perpendicularly mounted onto the sleeve; an upper shoulder bar slidingly mounted on the lower shoulder bar and a rim holder affixed to the upper shoulder bar. The device is constructed of telescoping bars that can be slidingly adjusted and kept in place by pins. This design allows the shape of the device to be modified and to accommodate a diversity of tire sizes. This invention can also be used as a jack by positioning the rim holder on the ground as a fulcrum and using the device as a lever to lift a car.

  • Patent number: 8245702
Abstract: This device is designed to shoot balls and can be used to play with dogs. It comprises a handle, an upper tube attached to the handle, a trigger mechanism, a lower tube slidably mounted against a mechanical energy storage device such as a metal spring, a rubber band or compressed air in the upper tube, and a gripping mechanism mounted in the lower end of the lower tube. The gripping mechanism is designed to grab the ball when the device handle is pushed down and to release the ball when the trigger is pulled and the lower tube is extended outward by the force of the spring causing the ball to fly away.

  • Patent number: 8088088
Abstract: A support system designed to reduce the stress exerted on the back of a wearer when he bends over to lift a load. It comprises a harness and a yoke for distributing the load on the shoulder of the wearer and a tension system equipped with elastic cables. It further comprises leggings including straps designed to wrap around the sole of the wearer and to maintain the force acting on the leg as close as possible to the bone structure of the leg of the wearer, thereby relieving stress on his back and along his legs.

  • Patent number: 7654921
Abstract: A batting training aid and method of use to improve baseball players' batting stance and swinging motion. The stance is characterized by a high center of gravity, erect posture with one leg forward, and the other backward. The proper swinging motion is around a vertical axis. The batting training aid comprises: a waist belt; an anklet; a stirrup attached to the anklet; a strap connected at one end to the belt and at the other to the anklet. The length of the strap is adjusted to a predetermined length set to the maximum separation between the back ankle and the waist and configured to force players into the proper batting stance and proper swinging motion. The method of use comprises adjusting the length of strap; adopting batting stance; batting at ball; sensing a tug between the waist and the ankle; and correcting the batting stance to eliminate the tug.
