Abstract: A sun detection sensor assembly for attachment to a thermal imaging device, comprising an elongated tubular body having two ends and a sensor, characterized as Sun TECT sensor, attached to one end, the Sun TECT sensor having a tubular body, an IR window positioned at one end of the tubular body, and a photo a infrared photo transistor positioned within the tubular body, opposite the IR window, the infrared photo transistor having a photo sensitive surface for detecting the exposure from sun when the sun is within a field of view of the Sun TECT Sensor, and an automatic ON/OFF mechanism which is activated by the infrared photo transistor and protecting the thermal imaging device from undesired and harmful infrared radiation.
Abstract: An electrical cable identification system for efficiently identifying electrical cables during and after circuit breaker installation. The electrical cable identification system generally includes an identification tab including a first end and a second end, a connecting portion integral with the first end and an identifier portion integral with the second end. The connecting portion is comprised of a thin configuration to slide between an outer sheath of an electrical cable and at least one inner wire encompassed by the outer sheath and a marking is located upon the identifier portion to identify the electrical cable.
Abstract: A door safety device is disclosed. The door safety device includes a lock member, an attachment member carried by the lock member and an attachment device carried by the attachment member. A method of securing a sliding door in a closed position in a sliding door assembly is also disclosed.
Abstract: An awning wind deflector adapted for deflecting wind around and away from a rolled up awning structure attached to a recreation vehicle. The wind deflector comprising a disk-shaped flange at one end and an elongated tubular stem at the other end. The wind deflector is mounted at an end of the rolled up awning structure, wherein the flange having a sloping front face faces the head winds. The wind deflector includes an elongated radial slit for mounting over the rolled up structure by flexing the slit and clamping the wind deflector by a hose clamp around the elongated tubular stem.
Abstract: A self-loading tow dolly is described. The inventive tow dolly permits components of the dolly to be easily removed and replaced. The inventive tow dolly also reduces overall weight by using aluminum slotted hubs mated with 8-inch aluminum slotted wheels and by employing dissimilar materials that do not require welding and improves lubrication by providing strategically placed lubricant ports and lubricant reservoirs for rotating components.
Abstract: A saddle lift apparatus is disclosed. An illustrative embodiment of the saddle lift apparatus includes a base, an arm support member extending from the base, a saddle support arm pivotally carried by the arm support member, a saddle lift actuating assembly engaging the saddle support arm and a plurality of saddle supports carried by the saddle support arm.
