Abstract: An attachable lighter tool has a clip slideably engaging the body of the lighter. The clip slides along the major axis of the lighter. An implement such as a poker or tamper extends from the clip along the major axis of the lighter. When not in use, the tool conforms substantially against the body of the lighter and is out of the way. In use, a smoker slides the clip along the major axis of the lighter exposing the implement for the servicing of the smoker's pipe.
Abstract: Light sources in a luminaire attach to the luminaire by one or more tabs. Up to three axis of rotation are possible. Bendable tabs enable a first axis of rotation of the light source. Light sources are rotatable about a mounting point to the tab providing a second axis of rotation. Some tabs are twistable about a third axis of rotation. Some tabs also conduct heat away from the light source. Tabs can also be formed in a baffle plate for new luminaires or for the retrofit of existing luminaires. Multiple types of light sources can be combined to provide luminaires with custom light patterns and intensities.

Abstract: An aircraft navigation light comprises a base and circuit board in thermal contact with the base. White and colored LEDs mount on the circuit board. A reflector-shade placed adjacent the LEDs reflects light from the LEDs in desired directions and shades other directions from view of selected LEDs. A light transmissive cover sealed to the base, encloses the circuit board, LEDs and reflector-shade. Temperature responsive circuitry on the circuit board regulates the current through the LEDs and reduces the LED current under high temperature conditions.

Abstract: A K-Delta-1-Sigma modulator filters or integrates (Sigma) the difference (Delta) between K-feedback paths and an input signal. By using K-feedback paths the topology enables sample rates that are K times the clock frequency of any one feedback path. The sigma block can be implemented in a number of ways including an active or passive integrator or a filter with specific characteristics. When implemented as an integrator, the sigma block is common to all the feedback paths, so that the modulation noise is pushed to a portion of the spectrum where it can be reduced by filtering. The delta block can be implemented in a number of ways including analog adders or switched capacitors.
