Abstract: A splint assembly for use with an individual's limb including an assembleable and rigid member positioned in surrounding fashion about an intermediate joint associated with the limb. A pair of support subassemblies secure about a location of the individual's limb contiguous to the joint, an extending edge of each support subassembly securing to a perimeter extending edge of the rigid member. Upper and lower wraparound support subassemblies secure to first and second perimeter extending edges associated with the rigid member, each further including a generally grid and web-shaped foam template with a hardened plastic backing being configured to match the configuration of the foam template. Edge extending straps provided for each of the hardened plastic backings overlap and engage opposite extending edge locations of each wraparound support subassembly.

Abstract: A two piece storage container including a lid having a rectangular shape with sides and ends defining therebetween a recessed interior, the lid including a plurality of spaced apart lips extending from a selected end. A base corresponding generally in outline with the lid and including an equal plurality of upwardly projecting hinge supports which are located proximate to an associated end of the base arrayed in opposing and communicable fashion relative to the lips upon positioning of the lid over the base. The lips are angularly supported within said hinge supports in a first open rotated position and, upon being rotated to a closed position, capable of being linearly displaced against said hinge supports to lock said lid to said base.

Abstract: A center console for an automotive vehicle includes a storage bin having a hinged lid movable between open and closed positions. The lid has an inner surface facing the bin in the closed position. An outer surface extends from the storage bin. A pocket is recessed relative to the outer surface. The pocket is spaced apart from the storage bin. A cover is releasably attachable to the outer surface for covering the pocket. The cover is releasably attachable to the inner surface of the lid for storing the cover when it is not in use.

Abstract: The invention relates to a line clip, by means of which adjacent supply lines of varying types or other long components can be fixed together or fixed to a support piece. The above comprises a housing piece (1), with retaining recesses (5) embodied therein to match the cross-sections of the lines concerned, clipping arms (6), moulded on both sides of the retaining recess (5), which are inclined towards each other and a securing clip (2) which way be placed over the housing piece (1) with counter recesses (16) embodied thereon which are complementary to the reraining recess of the housing piece (1) and also match the cross sections of the lines. Locking elements (18) are moulded at both ends of the housing piece (1) and the securing clip (2), which clip into each other on placing the securing clip (2) on the housing piece (1).

Abstract: An electronically controlled pedal assembly with hysteresis includes a mounting bracket and pedal arm and a pedal support arm extending therebetween. The pedal arm is pivotally mounted to the pedal support arm at a pedal arm pivot point. The pedal support arm is pivotally mounted to the mounting bracket at a pedal support arm pivot point. A hysteresis generating means is operatively supported by the support arm at the pedal support arm pivot point, and includes a torsion spring and a friction spacer having a cylindrical portion and an outer helical flange. The friction spacer is disposed within the torsion spring such that the outer flange of the friction spacer fits between the coils of the coil spring. Rotation of the support arm creates a frictional hysteresis force between the torsion spring and the friction spacer that is translated back through the pedal arm.

Abstract: A utility clip may include a base and a cover that is pivotably secured to the base. The base may include a pair of guide flanges that, along with the cover, cooperate to create a passage to retain and support a cable or wire. The guide flanges may be angled in the manner that creates a generally smooth path of travel for a cable or wire retained in the clip. As a result, the flanges may prevent kinking or over-bending of the wire or cable. Furthermore, by creating a path of travel for the wire or cable the user may avoid tangling the wire or cable around himself/herself or around other nearby wires, cables or equipment.
