Abstract: A crystal oscillator-based module, which includes a crystal resonator receiving a conditioned signal from a first bus and passing a resonator signal to a sustaining stage amplifier. A synchronization range expansion circuit is connected between a gain control network and the resonator. A tri-state buffer has a main input connected to receive the resonator signal through a buffer. The output of the tri-state buffer is connected to a second bus, through a matching network if necessary. A synchronous clock system can be formed by connecting these modules alternately to the two busses. The tri-state buffer also has a control input, which may be connected to a delay circuit between Vcc and ground, so as to allow hot swapping and for other benefits.

Abstract: A constant torque input infinitely variable automatic transmission preferably includes a transmission base, a first cone member, a second cone member, a cone drive member and a biasing member. The transmission base preferably includes a drive base, a first cone yoke and a second cone yoke. The first cone yoke is pivotally retained by the drive base and the first cone member is rotatably retained by the first cone yoke. The second cone yoke extends from the drive base and the second cone yoke rotatably retains the second cone member. A small diameter end of the first cone member is positioned adjacent to a large diameter end of the second cone member. The bias member causes an axis of the first cone member to move toward an axis of the second cone member. The cone drive member is received by an outer perimeter of the first and second cone members.

Abstract: The present invention is an improved grain drill and a method retrofitting a previously manufactured grain drill to provide accurate weight determination of seed in a seed hopper of the grain drill. A grain drill in accordance with the invention includes a frame having a plurality of wheels for supporting the grain drill during rolling over a surface of ground to be planted with seed grain; a hopper for containing the seed grain to be planted in the ground; a support which is joined to opposed sides of the frame and to spaced apart locations of the hopper to transfer weight of the hopper to the frame, the support including at least one weight sensing device which senses a weight of seed grain in the hopper transferred through the support to the frame and provides an output of the sensed weight of the seed grain in the hopper; and a display, coupled to the output, for displaying the weight of the seed grain contained in the hopper.

Abstract: A lamp adjuster for adjusting the aim of a headlamp. The adjuster includes a housing having a first adjustment point, a gear having a second adjustment point, and an output shaft disposed at least partially within and functionally engaging the gear. Movement of the output shaft can be effected using either the first adjustment point or the second adjustment point. The adjuster can also include a clutching feature.

Abstract: A hammer for a hammermill includes an elongated pin hole and a pin-hole insert that allows the hammer to be mounted in a first position and a second position on a rotor of a hammermill to prolong the useful life of the hammer. The insert is installed in the pin hole using corresponding mating features. A hammer assembly and method for prolonging the life of hammers in a hammermill are also described.

Abstract: A ground stabilization network including a circuit with an EMI filter circuit to filter out ground referenced interference and internal fault current detection circuitry with an integrated trip circuit to stop the flow of power in case of a fault condition, which might result in a safety hazard. The EMI filter circuit includes a resistor and a reactive portion, both connected in parallel between neutral or return line and ground, mounted between the trip circuit and a current sensor. The current sensor senses differences between the current in the hot or positive line and the current in the neutral/negative or return line, and causes the trip circuit to trip if a predetermined difference in current is sensed.

Abstract: A system for mounting a partition, the system including a shoe with a slot for receiving an edge of the partition and an isolator that fits within the slot between the partition and a portion of the slot. A clamp assembly fits within the slot opposite the first isolator. The clamp assembly includes upper and lower blocks and, optionally, a center block. Surfaces of the blocks are angled with respect to each other so that drawing the upper and lower blocks toward each other will urge one of the blocks in one direction and the other block or blocks in the opposite direction. The blocks include engagement surfaces which engage a side wall of the slot and a side of the partition to selectively and releasably hold the partition within the slot.

Abstract: A removable replaceable cartridge for use with a liquid diffusing device. The cartridge includes a venturi, a conduit extending to the venturi, a mixing area and an outlet path for atomizing and dispersing a liquid within the cartridge. A diffusion device including a removable replaceable cartridge received within a housing. The housing includes a source of compressed gas which is directed into the cartridge. A venturi head with a unitary body for use with a diffusion device.

Abstract: A fixing group of a watercraft appliance for the attachment thereof to an outer side of a deck wall of a boat comprises a base of the watercraft appliance and at least one seat formed in the base and suitable for receiving a respective threaded fastening element, so that said element has a free end projecting from the base for insertion into a respective through hole formed in the deck wall, so as to be accessible from the inner side of such a deck wall for fixing the watercraft appliance to it. The at least one seat comprises an access at a peripheral surface of the base and a retaining portion suitable for cooperating through shape coupling with said threaded fastening element to prevent the rotation and axial sliding thereof with respect to the base. The invention also refers to a method for attaching a watercraft appliance comprising said fixing group to a deck wall of a boat by means of threaded fastening elements.

The merchandising system comprises a frame coupled to the base and configured to couple with a shelving system for supporting the base in a substantially horizontal configuration, a first guide and a second guide coupled to the base for supporting articles, and an assembly for advancing the articles that is coupled to the base and provides force on the articles.

Abstract: A cutter clip and methods for installing a gutter cover onto a gutter system are disclosed. The gutter clip includes a mouth portion sized to provide an interference fit between the gutter cover and the mouth portion of the clip which stationarily secures the gutter cover to the gutter clip. The gutter clip is further provided with a mounting portion that fastens to the lip of a gutter. Once assembled, the gutter clip of the present invention provides minimum horizontal and vertical tolerances between the gutter and the gutter cover, such that water may flow freely into the gutter channel, but does not permit debris to be lodged therein.

Abstract: A block with a rotating sheave mounted between a pair of side plates. Captured between the side plates may be a post about which a mounting loop may be mounted. The post is removable from the between the side plates to permit the loop to be attached or detached from the block.

Abstract: A device, method and system for preparing and storing samples for microscopic analysis is disclosed. The device provides a reservoir that can be attached to a displacement pipette thereby filling the reservoir with reagents desired for preparing the samples for microscopic analysis. In some embodiments, the specimen may be contained on a transmission electron microscope (TEM) grid. In other embodiments, the sample may be a light microscope (LM) specimen or a scanning electron microscope (SEM) specimen. In yet another embodiment, the invention provides a method of preparing samples for microscopic examination including a device for preparing TEM grids with, a device for preparing TEM, SEM or LM specimens with and a device for storing both grids and specimens in. In yet another embodiment, the invention provides a system for tracking the preparation, analysis and histological evaluation of multiple samples while also providing for their long term storage.

Abstract: A portable genset with an engine driving a generator mounted to a frame and positioned within an enclosure. The enclosure includes front and rear hoods that are hingedly mounted adjacent opposite ends of the genset. The hoods may be hinged open to permit access to either of the engine or the generator. The genset may also include a tongue with a hitch mounted an outer end permitting the genset to be towed. The tongue may be movable between an extended position and a generally vertical position.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to improved chains for use with trenching machines. The present disclosure relates more specifically to a chain for a boomed trenching excavator, the chain including a plurality of links hingedly connected to each other. Each link includes a one piece body with an inner surface for engaging the boom and an outer surface for engaging the ground. Each link also includes a pair of side extensions for engaging a drive sprocket of the boom. One or more teeth may be mounted to the outer surface. The present disclosure also relates to a blank from which the links for an excavator chain may be made and to a link which may be used with other links to form an excavator chain.

Abstract: An inflatable training device having a flexible concave shaped dome for stepping on by a user and a base. A portion of the dome wraps around a portion of the base to form a bumper ring that is seated on the floor. The inner area of the dome is filled with air through either a high volume valve located in the base or a low-volume valve in the dome that permits the firmness of the device to be easily adjusted.

Abstract: A connector for pipe or tubing. The connector includes a unitary expansion member, formed from a body, a first expansion leg extending from the body, an optional second expansion leg extending from the body, and at least one opening extending through the body. In use, the connector is fastened in place by a fastener that is inserted through the at least one opening to contact at least one of the first and second expansion legs and force at least one of them to deform and contact the inside of the pipe or tubing, thereby securing the connector within the pipe or tubing.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of generating hydrogen or oxygen from an aqueous solution within a flow cell by applying a high frequency AC signal to the flow cell. The present invention further relates to an apparatus for generating hydrogen or oxygen from an aqueous solution, and a method of generating hydrogen peroxide in an aqueous solution.
