  • Patent number: 8335691
Abstract: A computer implemented method, a computer program product, and a data processing system attach audio generated scripts to graphical representations of applications. A mobile device records an audio instruction. The mobile device then converts the audio instruction into a command script and associates the command script with a document identifier. The mobile device then forwards the document identifier and the associated command script to a target location. The command script can then be utilized at the target location to make changes to a document identified by the document identifier.

  • Patent number: 8261198
Abstract: Embodiments can include instructions or steps, which when carried out, detect that copy operations are being performed on website data displayed to a user. Further to this detection, a co-browsing query for display to a user may be generated, an instruction to associate a co-browsing invitation with website data copied by the user may also be generated and a co-browsing invitation and pasted website data may be sent to an invitee.

  • Patent number: 8239887
Abstract: This invention relates to a system and method for providing dedicated television advertisements based on speech recognition of telephone conversations. The home user makes telephone calls using a landline, cellular phone or VoIP phone. The user may also be watching TV. While doing so, the user is able to see advertisements on part or all of his TV screen, based on words and phrases he may have used during his telephone conversation(s). The system and method may be provided by a triple play or quad play service provider which associates its users' telephone calls with TV advertising. Once the user sees the advertisement he can get more information concerning the advertisement by clicking on it with a pointing device, e.g., a mouse or TV remote control, or by using any other navigation method the TV system provides, to see additional details concerning the advertisements.

  • Patent number: 8201152
Abstract: A method and system for debugging a program in multithread environment which interrupts the running of a debuggee program begins by replacing the instruction at the position at which a breakpoint for debugging is desired to be set with a breakpoint instruction. When the breakpoint instruction is replaced back with the instruction at the position at which the breakpoint for debugging is set, an instruction is set in front of the breakpoint for debugging as a fence breakpoint; and when the instruction at the position at which the breakpoint for debugging is set, is replaced again with the breakpoint instruction. On completion, the fence breakpoint is replaced with the original instruction of the debuggee program at that position.

  • Patent number: 8120933
Abstract: A power converter includes a reverse-recovery avoidance scheme. The power converter may include deliver current from a direct current (DC) power source to an alternating current (AC) load. A first switch and second switch of the power converter may be operated to supply the AC load with positive current respective to the AC load from the DC power source. A third and fourth switch of the power converter may be operated to supply the AC load with negative current respective to the AC load from the DC power source. A first diode may be electrically coupled in series with the second switch and second diode may be electrically coupled in parallel with the first diode and the second switch. The second diode may conduct the positive current when the first switch is off and the second switch is on. A third diode may be electrically coupled in series with the fourth switch and a fourth diode may be electrically coupled in parallel with the third diode and the fourth switch.

  • Patent number: 7950819
Abstract: An organic light emitting diode system is sufficiently thin and poser efficient to permit its attachment to different configurations such as pocketbooks, brief bags, suitcases and the like. At least one side of the OLED material can have an attachment mechanism to facilitate attachment to a surface in the area to be lighted. The system may include a portable power source that provides electrical power to actuate the OLED material, causing it to generate light. A switch connected to the battery can control power to the OLED material to switch the light on and off. The switch can be manually operated or automatic. The low power consumption of embodiments of the OLED apparatus also provides for unique applications and uses.
