    Abstract: A solid pharmaceutical preparation for administration in dosage unit form comprising a therapeutically effective cardiac glycoside, whereby each dosage unit is to comprise a plurality of bodies, each of said bodies having a pharmaceutically inert core and a layer thereon containing the glycoside and a polymer insoluble in gastric juice and soluble in intestinal juice, a process for preparing such preparation and a method of treatment employing the same.
