Abstract: A retaining system including a power cord retaining system and a cord plug retaining system for use with a power tool. The power cord retaining system is configured for accommodating an extension cord and includes a cord capture formation for retaining the extension cord disposed on the tool, and a cord channel disposed on the tool and configured for supporting a loop of the cord substantially along an arc defined by the loop. In the preferred embodiment, the cord capture formation defines an enclosed aperture for retaining the cord at two points, and the cord channel defines a semi-circular arc for supporting the cord loop substantially along its apex. The plug retaining system is configured for maintaining electrical continuity between the plug and the receptacle and includes a contact portion for engaging a plug or a cord, and an attachment device for attaching the contact portion to the tool.

Abstract: An access cover assembly for use in removably covering an access opening of a utility pole, the opening having a width, a height which is longer than the width and a pair of side edges; the assembly includes a cover having edges configured for engaging the pole, being provided in a sufficient size to cover the opening, and a claw tool having a central portion and a pair of opposing ends, the central portion having a fastener chamber for lockingly engaging a threaded fastener, the fastener chamber constructed and arranged so that the fastener may be pushed axially into the chamber and held there to secure the cover to the pole to cover the opening, and so that the fastener may be removed by unthreading.
Abstract: A magnetic disk device includes a base and a cover to enclose magnetic disks and magnetic heads therein. The cover has side flange portions extending downward from a top cover portion and an end flange portion extending downward from the top cover portion. The height of the end flange portion is greater than the height of the side flange portions. A bar code label can be attached to the end flange portion.
Abstract: A power supply converts an AC input voltage to a DC output voltage and supplies the DC output voltage to power devices. The power supply includes a housing, a transformer provided in the housing for reducing a voltage level of the AC input voltage and a thermal protection device thermally connected between the AC input voltage and the transformer for electrically disconnecting the AC input voltage from the transformer when activated responsive to the transformer exceeding a predetermined temperature. A rectifier is electrically connected to the transformer for rectifying the AC input voltage reduced by the transformer into the DC output voltage which is supplied to the power devices.
