Abstract: A device for transferring sheets in a sheet-processing machine includes a cylinder having at least one gripper device for the sheets, and a control device for opening and closing the gripper device, the control device having a first control cam for recto printing and a second control cam for recto/verso printing, at least one follower element for following the first and second control cams, each of the first and second control cams being formed with a through opening for accommodating a bearing element and, respectively, a cutout formed in the periphery of the first and second control cams and extending as far as the through opening for fitting the first and second control cams to and removing them from the bearing element radially. The first and second control cams, respectively, are of unipartite construction and, in peripheral direction, are aligned with one another so as to provide an at least approximately closed contour path for the at least one follower element.

Abstract: The controller for a drive train, with engine and transmission controllers has: a detection circuit with which respective driving situations of the motor vehicle and driver's characteristics are determined, and a control device for the clutch which, when the motor vehicle starts, is adapted to the driving situation which is determined and/or the driver's characteristics. When the motor vehicle starts (accelerates from standstill), the control device transfers, to the engine controller, signals with which the engine speed is stored according to stored characteristic curves.
Abstract: Wastewater from a chemical-mechanical polishing process (CMP) used in semiconductor chip fabrication has hitherto been, and is still being, discharged into the public sewage system after chemical neutralization and sedimentation. This has the drawback that water consumption is considerable. It is therefore an object of the invention to reduce the total amount of wastewater produced that has to be discharged. This is achieved by the wastewater to be treated being subjected to an ultra-filtration. This allows the treated CMP wastewater to be reused within the plant. In particular, it can be recycled in order again to recover therefrom deionized water of a very high purity for operational purposes, e.g. for CMP.
