Abstract: A bistable electromagnetic valve is proposed, which is to be used in refrigerant circuits. The valve can be produced at particularly low outlay and at the same time is reliably leaktight. This is achieved, according to the invention, in that the valve chamber (7) is formed within a control coil (3) by a cylindrical tubular body (2) which extends at least beyond the pole pieces (5, 6) inserted into the cylindrical tubular body (2).
