Abstract: An alarm control mechanism, which is of reduced size widthways and can trigger the striking mechanism with precision. The mechanism includes a group of coaxial wheels (1) including: an hour cam (3), which makes one revolution in 24 hours; a trigger wheel (4) provided with a pinion (6) and an external circular toothing (5), which cooperates with a striking mechanism trigger (30); a programming wheel (7) carrying a cam follower lever (8) and angularly positioned by means (25) for setting the alarm time; a retaining disc, which is called a surprise-piece (11) and is provided with a return spring (12); and a minute cam (14) that makes one revolution per hour. The lever (8) includes a pin (40), which can press against the cams (3, 14) and the surprise-piece (11), and a rack engaged on the pinion (6), such that a radial movement of the lever (8) pivots the trigger wheel (4) in relation to the programming wheel (7).
Abstract: The invention concerns a general method for the specific determination of DNA sequences by means of parallel amplification through nested polymerase chain reaction in a combined liquid-phase/solid-phase-DNA-microarray system, together with modifications derived therefrom to determine, for example, point mutations and to sequence DNA sub-regions, which according to a particular embodiment can also be unknown.
Abstract: The escapement includes first (1) and second (2) escape wheels each driven by independent gear trains and barrels. The system includes a brake lever (8) cooperating with an impulse pin (7) of the roller (4) and with the escape wheels via locking pallet stones (12, 13). The roller carries pallet stones (10, 11) for receiving impulses from the escape wheels. When the wheels are locked, the brake lever occupies a centred position relative to said wheels. Means (16, 30, 31) for re-engaging the locking pallet stones in the toothing of the wheels are provided to ensure proper operation of the system.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a heat resistance copper alloy material characterized in that said copper alloy material comprises 0.15 to 0.33 mass percent of Co, 0.041 to 0.089 mass percent of P, 0.02 to 0.25 mass percent of Sn, 0.01 to 0.40 mass percent of Zn and the remaining mass percent of Cu and inevitable impurities, wherein each content of Co, P, Sn and Zn satisfies the relationships 2.4?([Co]?0.02)/[P]?5.2 and 0.20?[Co]+0.5[P]+0.9[Sn]+0.1[Zn]?0.54, wherein [Co], [P], [Sn] and [Zn] are said mass percents of Co, P, Sn and Zn content, respectively; and said copper alloy material is a pipe, plate, bar, wire or worked material obtained by working said pipe, plate, bar or wire material into predetermined shapes.
Abstract: The escapement includes two distinct escape wheel sets (1, 2), a roller (3) including a first impulse pallet stone (5) cooperating with the first wheel set (1) and a third impulse pallet stone (12) cooperating with the second wheel set (2). Abstract: A display device for a portable instrument includes at least a first transparent or semi-transparent plate arranged on a bottom element. Several closed cavities are formed at least in part in the first plate in the field of view of the device to display information. Each cavity is connected by a respective channel through the bottom element to a tank of colored fluid via feed means for filling or emptying each closed cavity of colored fluid for displaying information. The feed means include at least one micropump connected by an inlet pipe to the colored fluid tank, and microvalves connected to the micropump by a common outlet pipe. Each cavity is directly connected via its respective channel to a corresponding microvalve. The micropump and the microvalves are controlled by electric signals from control means, which can be clocked by a time base in order to control display of time information.

Abstract: In order to check the hermeticity of a closed cavity of at least one micrometric component, said component includes a structure made over or in one portion of a substrate, a cap fixed to one zone of the substrate to protect the structure, and an indicator element whose optical or electrical properties change in the presence of a reactive fluid. The indicator element may be a copper layer for an optical check or a palladium resistor for an electrical check. The micrometric component is placed in a container which is then hermetically closed. This container is filled with a reactive fluid under pressure, which is oxygen for the optical check and hydrogen for the electrical check. The component in the container is subjected to a reactive fluid pressure higher than 10 bars for a determined time period, and to thermal (T>100° C.) or optical (?<500 nm) activation. After this time period, an optical or electrical check of the indicator element determines the hermeticity of said cavity.

The photosensitive film roll is formed in a step by winding around a core, a photosensitive film comprising a supporting film and a photosensitive resin composition layer formed on the supporting film. The resin case is collapsible without generating any waste materials after the case is collapsed. The photosensitive resin layer includes a photosensitive resin composition containing a binder polymer and a photopolymerizable compound having at least one polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated group within a molecule and a photopolymerization initiator, and the resin case consists of a resin having a lower surface energy than the photosensitive resin composition.

Abstract: A long-term antibiotic and deodorant textile with mesoporous structure and processing method thereof are provided. At first, a textile is dipped into an aqueous solution of a surfactant containing nanoparticles. An aqueous solution of a silicon source is prepared and its pH value is adjusted to about 5˜9. Then, the aqueous solution of the surfactant and the aqueous solution of the silicon source are mixed to form a mixture solution. The mixture solution is stirred until silica powder form therein. The textile is taken out and dipped into water and organic solvent separately several times. Finally, the textile is dried to obtain the long-term antibiotic and deodorant textile with mesoporous structure.
Abstract: A method of obtaining an image uses a broad dynamic range image sensor that includes a photosensitive cell formed of pixels. Each pixel includes a element, a first initialization transistor series connected to the element, storage means coupled to the element, a third initialization transistor series connected to a capacitor, and fourth and fifth series connected transistors, wherein one control terminal of the fourth transistor is connected to the capacitor. The method comprises initializing the capacitor and t-he-photodiode to a first initialization voltage via conduction of the second and third transistors, then making the second transistor non-conductive to start a first long exposure period of the photodiode. At the end of the first exposure period, the first transistor is made conductive to initialize the photodiode to a second initialization voltage to start a second short exposure period. The photodiode voltage level is stored in the capacitor.

A second portion of the flexible substrate carries electrical connection terminals, which are connected to the connection pads via conductive paths, arranged in part on a connecting portion between the first and second portions. A through aperture in the first portion may be provided opposite the photosensitive area only of the photoreceptor circuit.
