  • Patent number: 7726368
Abstract: A pneumatic tire includes a shallow groove provided between zigzag sipes adjacent in the circumferential direction of the tire, which can reduce production cost of the mold, facilitate trimming operation and decrease waste from trimming while reduction of driving stability during turning on a wet road surface and occurrence of curing trouble are suppressed. The pneumatic tire has a tread surface where land portions are defined by grooves. The land portions have tread surface sections, in which a plurality of sipes extending in a zigzag manner in the widthwise direction of the tire are arranged at prescribed intervals in the circumferential direction of the tire. A shallow groove extends between adjacent sipes. The shallow groove is placed such that parts of land portions sectioned on the opposite sides of the shallow groove are not separated, but partially communicate with each other.

  • Patent number: 6729844
Abstract: An electronic control device for opening and closing valves in a valve assembly that actuates a variable pitch fan system capable of operating in a plurality of fan blade pitch positions including a temperature switch actuated in response to a temperature condition of the engine, a pressure switch in series with the temperature switch and actuated in response to a pressure condition of the variable pitch fan system, and a time delay relay control in parallel with the temperature switch and the pressure switch for transmitting a timed signal therefrom. The device also includes a first solenoid in series with the pressure switch, a second solenoid in series with the time delay relay control and connected to the first solenoid, and wherein transmission of at least one of the timed signal, the temperature condition signal, and the pressure condition signal opens or closes the valves of the valve assembly of the variable pitch fan system.

  • Patent number: 5499230
Abstract: Signals from two light receiving sections of a 2-split photodetector are separated to the AC coupled high frequency side and the DC coupled low frequency side. Both signals are added, thereby forming a tracking error signal of a wide band. A tracking error signal is independently formed with respect to the high frequency side and can be also added to the signal on the low frequency side.
