    Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing threaded caps comprises a plurality of compression molding assemblies which are arranged on a rotating carousel and comprise an upper male mold half and a lower female mold half. The male mold half comprises a tubular element, a sleeve guided coaxially to said tubular element, and a punch guided in the tubular element and having a helical slot for forming the thread of the cap. The punch enters the female mold half and produces, together with it, the cap through compression of a dose of plastic material deposited in the female mold half. After the spacing of the punch from the female mold half, the removal of the cap from the punch occurs by way of a removal device, which comprises a ring gear associated with the sleeve and provided with a collar in sliding contact on the punch, a rod which can slide axially in a seat of the carousel and supports a gear meshing with the ring gear and connected to a motor drive mechanism.

    Abstract: The bag is made from a polyethylene sheet and has a mouth with at least one sheath along its edge, the sheath containing an inextensible ribbon which is graspable from outside through a hole cut in the sheath, in order to close the bag after filling. An elastically extensible ribbon is fastened at its opposite ends to the material of the bag. When the bag is received in a rigid bin with its upper margin overturned over the bin rim, the elastic ribbon is pulled radially, looped and released around the overturn of the bag to clamp it around the bin.

    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for nondestructively detecting the orientation of anisotropic molecules in thin films and in molecular layers in general. The present invention is based on a single measurement of the non-polarized photoluminescence spectrum, in order to determine whether the molecules are orientated at right angles or parallel to the surface of the molecular layer, fabricated with any technique. The method is fast and noninvasive and can also allow to observe noninterferingly in real time during growth the orientation of the molecules in the film. The result of this real-time observation can be used to optimize the growth conditions of the film in order to achieve the intended molecular orientation.
