  • Patent number: 5501176
Abstract: A bracket stands upright on a base attached to the bracket with a hinge, the hinge being biased by a spring to hold the bracket upright and at right angles to the base. The bracket has horizontal slots located at intervals along its vertical length. A tray, containing holes designed to hold a pair of bowls, is attached to the bracket by a hinge. One of the hinge leaves connects to the tray. The free hinge leaf terminates in a flange adapted to fit in one of the horizontal slots on the bracket to support and hold the hinge and tray on the bracket. The height of the tray may be adjusted by placing the free hinge leaf into different slots. The hinge is configured to prevent motion of the tray downward below a horizontal position. The hinges allow the structure to be folded flat to allow storage in a narrow space when the structure is not in use.

  • Patent number: 5458780
Abstract: The waste stream is mixed with a solvent that absorbs the oily material without dissolving in the water phase. The remaining water/solids mixture is then separated by vibratory screening, and the solids are again contacted with solvent to remove the bulk of the remaining oily material. The remaining mostly solid material is screened again and then dried to remove any remaining solvent. The solvent is processed to remove the dissolved oily material, which is then sold or discarded. The water from the screening and drying steps is processed to remove any solvent entrained with the water, and the resulting solvent, solids and oil-free water is discharged.

  • Patent number: 4681193
Abstract: Rotary power slips mounted in the rotary table of an earth drilling rig and having slips for gripping and releasing pipe in the rotary table. The air transfer ring has concentric grooves in the upper surface. An annular seal ring is secured to the body of the rotary power slips and has a pair of air passageways. The air passageways lead to secondary fluid conduits in the body, which, in turn, lead to each end of the pneumatic cylinders to raise and lower the slips. Expansive rings are secured to the surface of the air transfer ring by mounting the edges of the rings into the grooves in the air transfer ring. When air pressure is applied through one of the primary fluid conduits, one of the expansive rings expands and cooperates with the lower surface of the seal ring to form an expansive fluid duct. The air pressure flows through a perforation in the expansive ring into the expansive fluid duct, and then through the air passageway and the secondary fluid conduit to the pneumatic cylinders.
