Abstract: A U-bolt is placed around a pipe and bolted to a clamp bracket, and the clamp bracket is bolted to a support plate. A pair of spade bolts are attached to the support plate and a hinge is connected between the ends of the spade bolts. A pair of screw connect the hinge to a support surface. The clamp bracket can be pivoted relative to the support plate, and the hinge can be pivoted relative to the support plate, to allow the pipe to be secured to a support surface at any angle.

Abstract: An apparatus for controlling the hydrogen sulfide concentration in an acid gas stream and the hydraulic loading of a sulfur recovery unit of the type having an absorber for contacting a sour gas stream with an absorbent, a regenerator for regenerating the absorbent to form an acid gas stream and a recycle system. Embodiments using multiple absorbers and/or multiple regenerators are disclosed.

Abstract: A stack of condiment packages is loaded into a tube, and the tube is inserted into a receiver. The first package rests on a support platform, and the receiver holds the tube at a position to secure all of the packages above the first. A push block on the end of a piston rod pushes the first package out from under the tube, and then retracts to allow the stack to fall to the support platform.

Abstract: A solidifying liquid is placed into a mold having sides and a planar bottom. A plurality of separators are attached to the bottom of a support grid. The support grid is then placed onto the mold, with positioning projections extending through holes in the support grid. The liquid is then allowed to set, forming a work surface having a flat top surface and support ribs on its bottom surface.

Abstract: A frame has a base and four vertical members supporting a pair of longitudinal supports spaced evenly apart to define a slot. A pair of seats are arranged in opposition at the ends of the frame and a exercise arm is located between the seats. The exercise arm reciprocates between the seats, and has handles for gripping. A dashpot provides resistance to movement of the exercise arm. The device can be adapted for use by one or two users.

Abstract: A goal post for football or basketball has a vertical post, surrounded by a foam pad. The foam pad is surrounded by an outer layer of a solid or mesh vinyl fabric material, wrapped around and bonded to the foam pad. A zipper is attached to the outer layer of fabric for securing the pad to the post. A cable having a ring on each end is attached to the lower edge of the outer layer of material. The rings can be locked to a ring on the slide fastener to secure the zipper.

Abstract: A stand holds a bottle in an inverted position and a spigot having a female threaded connector is attached to the bottle. A horizontal stem extends from the connector to a valve. The spigot includes an air intake tube extending from the valve through the stem to a position near the bottom of the bottle, and an output tube extending from the valve through the stem to a position near the top of the bottle. The valve opens and closes the intake tube and the output tube concurrently. The stand includes a frusto-conical lower section, with an upper surface, and the stem rests upon the upper surface of the lower section. The stand also includes a frusto-conical upper section with a slot for receiving the stem.

Abstract: A cover assembly is attached to a shaft extending upward from a handle. The cover assembly includes a plurality of cross guards that cross in front of and behind the fan blade to prevent injury. A pair of supports hold the cover assembly in an open position, and automatically shut the fan off if the fan is closed.

Abstract: An improved venetian blind for controlling the amount of light which passes through an opening. The venetian blind of the present invention includes a control housing mounted substantially adjacent to an opening, means for selectively limiting the amount of fight passing through a first region of the opening, and means for selectively limiting the amount of light passing through a second region of the opening. Various embodiments of the invention are illustrated.

Abstract: A vertical panel is mounted in a cabinet for movement into and out of the cabinet. A plurality of removable accessory holders are attached to the panel for holding accessories. A drawer front is attached to the panel for closing the cabinet when the panel is in the cabinet. The drawer front is attached to the panel along a line that is offset from the midline of the drawer front, to provide more room on one side of the panel for larger accessories. In some embodiments, the panel is a pegboard. The accessories holders include racks for shoes, pegs on which accessories can be hung, or trays for holding rings, earrings, and similar items.

Abstract: A cover plate with a center cap is placed over a wheel installed on a truck trailer. A tang on the cover plate, located on the side facing the wheel, passes through a slot in the wheel. The plate is then rotated until the tang touches a wheel spoke, and a projection on the tang extends under the wheel spoke holding the tang to the wheel. A slot on the opposite side of the cover plate overlaps another slot in the wheel. A flange attached to a chain is passed up through the wheel slot and the slot in the cover plate. The chain flange is then secured in place by a padlock attached through an eyehole in the chain flange. An identical installation is made on the tandem wheel using another cover plate and the flange on the other end of the chain.
