  • Patent number: 3992703
Abstract: A unique memory output integrated circuit disclosed including a memory output driver having an output terminal at which data may be read, a gated power amplifier, and a single ended multiplexer stage which, in the preferred embodiment, is adapted to be interfaced with a random access memory array comprised of a plurality of discrete, non-symmetrical memory cells. The integrated circuit is designed so that the space consumed thereby and the corresponding cost of production can be minimized.

  • Patent number: 3969753
Abstract: A semiconductor means comprising a substrate base and a piezoresistive film on the substrate wherein the material of the substrate is different in chemical formulation from the film. This results in a film having a high carrier mobility in which a semiconductor device can be oriented so that the direction of current flow in the device is in the direction of greatest carrier mobility. Performance of the device can be further improved when off-axis-symmetry films are formed on certain substrates. The method of formation of these semiconductor means includes determining the high carrier mobility directions by x-ray techniques and orienting the various masks or other means used to infuse the devices with dopant materials so that the device thus formed in the film will take advantage of high carrier mobility direction and hence higher performance semiconductor devices.

  • Patent number: 3945012
Abstract: A wideband pulsed energy system having improved signal-to-clutter response, and utilizing a chirped or frequency-modulated carrier pulse having a preselectively amplitude modulated envelope. A non-linear receiver-mixer cooperates with a successive intermediate frequency stage (the bandwidth of which correponds to the amplitude modulation bandwidth) for providing an output corresponding to the modulation envelope.
