  • Patent number: 7842510
Abstract: A method for measuring the maturity degree of a compost capable of determining the maturity degree of a compost purportedly of a product in a short period of time (10 to 30 minutes) by compost manufacturers, users and even those with insufficient expertise and experiences such as buyers in the distribution industry on site and also capable of determining it according to the maturity stage in an easy and cost-effective manner, and a measuring solution. A specific measuring solution is added to the compost to flocculate a compost extract containing humic-like substance and decomposed organic matter, and a liquid phase is acquired by precipitating the compost extract by the solid/liquid separation. Based on the correlation in which the absorbency of the liquid phase declines as the compost becomes more mature, the maturity degree of the compost is measured from the color contrasting density of the liquid phase.

  • Patent number: 7815194
Abstract: A mechanical seal 4 includes a rotary sealing ring 8 which is fixed to a rotary shaft body 2 and a stationary sealing ring 9 which is movably held to a tubular case body 1 in an axial direction thereof, and seals a space between inner and outer peripheral areas 5 and 18 of a relative rotation portion by means of the relative rotation of opposite end faces 21 and 27 of both sealing rings 8 and 9. A drive pin 24a which is engaged with a recessed portion 23 formed in an outer periphery of the stationary sealing ring 9 is fixedly supported to the case body 1 at both sides of a place engaging with the recessed portion 23 so as to prevent the stationary sealing ring 9 from rotating relatively to the case body 1. The drive pin 24a is made of a metal or plastic material according to the conditions of use.

  • Patent number: 7806824
Abstract: In a medical ultrasound diagnosis apparatus, a reference image and a guidance display are provided as probe operation support information. The reference image contains a recorded probe mark generated based on coordinate data recorded during a past diagnosis and a current probe mark generated based on current coordinate data. A user adjusts a position and an orientation of a probe so that these marks match. The guidance display has a plurality of indicators provided corresponding to a plurality of coordinate components. Each indicator displays proximity and match for each coordinate component. With the probe operation support information, it is possible to quickly and easily match a current diagnosis part to a past diagnosis part.

  • Patent number: 7808116
Abstract: A semiconductor device with improved bondability between a wire and a bump and cutting property of the wire to improve the bonding quality. In the semiconductor device, a wire is stacked on a pad as a second bonding point to form a bump having a sloped wedge and a first bent wire convex portion, and a wire is looped from a lead as a first bonding point to the bump and is pressed to the sloped wedge of the bump with a face portion of a tip end of a capillary to bond the wire to the bump. At the same time, the wire is pressed to the first bent wire convex portion using an inner chamfer of a bonding wire hole in the capillary to form a wire bent portion having a bow-shaped cross section. The wire is pulled up and cut at the wire bent portion.

Abstract: In an ultrasound diagnosis apparatus, a plurality of sub arrays are defined on a 2D array transducer. A plurality of groups are defined for each sub array. Each group is basically composed of a plurality of transducer elements which are connected in parallel with each other. A sub array shape is variably defined for a plurality of sub arrays in accordance with the beam direction and the depth of a focal point. Further, a grouping pattern is variably defined for each sub array. The acoustic distances between the respective transducer elements and the focal point is made as equal as possible for a plurality of transducer elements forming each group, whereby a preferable beam profile can be obtained.
