  • Patent number: 6647656
Abstract: A gun holding apparatus consisting of an elongated adjustable support strap having a slidable pad thereon, whereby the slidable support strap is looped in an over and under fashion through a plurality of slit openings in each of two end sections of the slidable pad enabling attachment to the strap of a variety of firearms, including conventional rifles, shotguns and muzzleloaders. A gun holding apparatus is provided for safety in holding rifles, shotguns and muzzleloaders in a carrying position, resting position, and at the same time, making for an easy and quick shift of a firearm from the resting position to a ready position for shooting without any adjustment to the gun holding apparatus.

  • Patent number: 6068136
Abstract: A portable bracket assembly which is constructed of two angularly disposed structural members which generally run parallel to each other for engagement to spaced horizontal members of a rack for holding sheet-like material. One structural member has a step like configuration wherein a horizontally disposed lower leg has a widened surface designed to hold sheet-like material. The remaining and second structural member coordinates with the first structural member to be fastened together to abut against outside and inside surfaces of the spaced horizontal member of the rack.

  • Patent number: 6018833
Abstract: An automated weldless inter-locking grating assembly for bridge decks and the like which includes a plurality of primary load-bearing members located laterally, a plurality of transverse secondary load-bearing members and a plurality of trimorphic load-bearing members. Secondary load-bearing structural members are inserted sideways into apertures of primary load-bearing members and trimorphic load-bearing members. Thus, when a horizontal force is applied to alternate primary or trimorphic load-bearing members or any combination thereof, rotation of secondary load-bearing member or members occur to efficiently and automatically lock secondary load-bearing member or members into primary and trimorphic load-bearing member or members completing assemblage thereof into a rigid structural form.

  • Patent number: 5931316
Abstract: A receptacle for receiving, holding and displaying relatively flat articles, and in particular, pamphlets and brochures. The information receptacle consists of a body which actually holds the pamphlets and brochures and adjustable front and rear mounting brackets which may be interchanged with each other to mount to most shelving whether it is solid or metal shelving with lips underneath. A preferred embodiment of the front mounting bracket is J-shaped and the rear mounting means consists of two dog-legged brackets with upper lips to overlap the top of a shelf. A second embodiment of a mounting bracket is U-shaped and may be used at the front or rear or both ends of the information receptacle.

  • Patent number: 5820180
Abstract: The present invention is an adjustable multi-purpose lifting apparatus for lifting ties, logs and the like. This invention consists of a fulcrum member having a lever handle integrally attached to a rotational gripping clamp and a second and opposing static gripping clamp connected by a telescopic horizontal structural member, such that when a workman places the tie, log or other object between the gripping clamps and exerts an upward lifting force, the apparatus automatically closes tightly against an outside surface of the tie, log or other object for easy and safe lifting and transportation. A button spring mechanism allows the telescopic horizontal structural member to vary its length and to lock onto a given width of the tie, log or other object. A release grip allows the load to be readily disengaged.

  • Patent number: 5595017
Abstract: A deep troller weight apparatus for connecting a fishline to a weight body. This invention consists of a locking device located within the weight body for engaging or disengaging a fishline after the deep troller weight apparatus has been submerged into a body of water. By exerting a moderate force on the fishline, the weight body glides by gravitational force along the fishline towards the hook and lure for reeling in the catch. A spiral shaped guide holds the fishline at a fixed position about the deep troller weight body and prevents the locking device from releasing the fishline under relatively small forces.
