Abstract: A self-improving identification method classifies specimens based on class identifiers. The system stores specimen profiles in a database that is updated with additional specimen profiles and with follow-up data that corrects classification of specimens that were initially incorrectly classified. Algorithms use the updated database to discover new class identifiers, modify thresholds of known class identifiers, and drop unnecessary class identifiers to improve classification of specimens.
Abstract: An intermediate for vinblastine synthesis represented by general formula A. general formula A. (in the formula, R1, R2, R3 and R4 are the group selected independently from the group consisting of H, lower alkyl group, lower alkoxy group, halogen, lower perfluoroalkyl group, lower alkylthio group, hydroxy group, amino group, mono- or di-alkyl or acylamino group, lower alkyl or arylsulfonyloxy group. R5 is H, or a lower alkyl group or a substituted or non-substituted aryl group, R6 is an alkyl group of carbon number 4 or less, R7 is a substituted or non-substituted aryl group, R8 is a substituted or non-substituted aryl group or lower alkyl group and R9 is an acyl group or trialkylsilyl group.
Abstract: A connection structure for a lead wire and a heater wire includes a tube member, a body housed in the tube member in a watertight manner, a through hole extending in an axial direction of the tube member in the body, seal members respectively arranged at both sides of the through hole, and stopper members each having a hole formed coaxially with the through hole and allowing the seal members to be removably attached with respect to the body wherein the heater wire is extended into the body from a liquid side in such a manner as to pass through both the hole and the seal member at one side, the lead wire is extended out of the body toward an electric power supply to be connected with in such a manner as to pass through both the hole and the seal member at the other side, and a connecting section of the heater wire and the lead wire is located in a space of the through hole between the seal members.
Abstract: An intermediate compound for total synthesis of ecteinascidins comprising, a compound represented by general formula 2 having thioether group at C4 site, and the substituent R2 of N12 site is trichloroethoxicarbonyl (Troc) to which various substituents can be introduced by mild condition, further having a 10-membered ring structure which can be converted to a ring of other numbered members.
Abstract: A sandwich immunoassay kit for detecting ciguatoxins based on a combination of two anti-ciguatoxin CTX3C monoclonal antibodies produced by hybridomas, 3D11 (deposited at IPOD, AIST under accession number FMRM PB-8293) and 10C9 (FMRM PB-8292). In particular, one of the antibodies is labeled and each of them binds specifically to a different site of ciguatoxin CTX3C.
Abstract: A method for preparation of inorganic fine particle-organic crystal hybrid fine particle comprising; pouring an organic material having ?-conjugated bond as a water soluble solution into aqueous dispersion in which inorganic fine particles of 50 nm or less selected from the compound group consisting of metal fine particles, semi-conductor fine particles, fine particles of inorganic fluorescent material and fine particle of inorganic luminescent material, are dispersed, co-precipitating said inorganic fine particle which forms a core into said organic material which forms a shell in said dispersion and forming shell of fine crystal of said organic material on the surface of the core of said inorganic fine particles of 50 nm or less by controlling the size of said inorganic fine particle and by controlling the adding amount of said organic material.
Abstract: A draw-molded and heat-set article obtained by draw-molding and heat-setting a hydroxyalkanoate resin comprising chiefly a polylactic acid, the draw-molded and heat-set article having a half-width (X) of a diffraction peak of 2?=10 to 25° of not larger than 1.220° and, particularly, not larger than 1.100° as found by a broad-angle X-ray measurement. The molded article possesses excellent transparency and heat resistance despite it is made of a spontaneously integrating plastic material. The draw-molded article and, particularly, a container is effectively used for containing beverages.
